The Princess is NOT in Another Castle
Thank GOD tomorrow is Friday...I will FINALLY have gas in my car, FINALLY have stamps to send out Christmas cards, FINALLY be able to buy groceries, and FINALLY be able to purchase the New Super Mario Brothers game when it comes out on the 15th.
Which, for the record, is the most kickASS Mario game I've played in a long time.
Speaking of, the perks of working at Gamestop are fucking sweet. First off, there's obviously the 15% in-store discount that counts for everything in the entire store, and the 10% mall discount itself.
*Billy Mays impression* BUT WAIT, THERE'S MOOOOORE!
Employees also get an 18% discount off their phone service (depending on the carrier; still not sure if Nazi-Mobile is part of this wondrous news), 25% discount at BARNES AND NOBLE (which I literally squealed about; apparently Gamestop is the sister company to B&N. *shrugs*), 15% discount at Logitech.com, and we can take home whatever game we want IN THE ENTIRE STORE to play until we've had enough fun with it, then bring it back.
Soooooooooooo much better than Holiday Inn, I tell you.
But there's my life incarnate over these past few hours, and let me tell you, it's been impressive. Not only do I now have an extra cash flow coming in to put away in savings or to blow randomly, I can save money on all the things I love the most! 'Tis truly amazing. Definitely one of the high moments of my adulthood-transitory period.
Apparently I either start tomorrow or next week, but whatever it is I'm ready to take it on. I mean, what can be better than geeking out all day on the Wii demo and kicking it with people I've come to know and love over the year that I worked at the mall?
