2012 is shaping up to be a shitty follow up to 2011. amongst other things, I just found out today that my job that I love so very much? the only job I've consistently enjoyed ever in my life? i no longer have it after mid-may, as the owner's husband just accepted a very good job offer out of state. he goes in 4 weeks, she stays until their youngest

Listen, I'm gonna heap advice and opinions on you. You can stop reading now, if you like ;)
I think it probably IS endo. And I think, based on my own experience, that you will have the surgery, and then be shocked by how much better you feel almost immediately and more shocked to realize that you have been much sicker than you actually realized. Endo destroys lives and because you don't have open running sores where people can see them, everyone just thinks you're nuts. That destroys relationships, and makes you feel crazy. Fuck that shit. Just fuck it. And if they go looking around and it isn't endo? Good. Now you can cross that off the list and keep going to find the good answers you need. Either way, getting this paperwork together is the first step in taking back your life and your health, throwing off the unjust judgements of others and having the courage and the strength to define who you are for yourself. Everyone else can accept that, or move on.
So please. Get the paperwork together. Today. Make the phone calls you need to make. And set a date for the surgery asap. The people around you who say you are a hypochondriac? They are invested in the crazy-making. It serves them. It doesn't serve you. It is holding you back from moving forward. Don't play along any more. Be who you want to be. Take charge of your health. And seriously, fuck that hypochondriac shit. it's bull. You deserve so much better.
I'm finished. :)
