1. So all my fellow William fans have read Yours, William by Puddinhead, right? RIGHT? Cause that was the fanfic that ate my soul last night and had me staying up three hours later than I'd planned ( Read more... )

GABS, DO YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING THE ENTIRE TIME I'VE BEEN DEPRESSED? I've curled up into a little ball and read Yours, William. It's the fic that kept me going on, that gave me some pleasure amidst all the pain (cliche much?). But for serious, it has been by my side this whole two weeks I've been out of it. And it's SO GOOD! The Buffy voice is incredible, and William is SO SWEET!

OH HAPPINESS!!!

Truth be told, I've had some depressed thoughts this past week, myself (nothing near the scale of what you've been going through, though, hon). That fic just made me HAPPY! It was relatively light on the angst (though I totally cried when his mum died), and the ending! Such a happy ending!

I love how easily William accepted Buffy's story about how she got to be there. Also, the penis cage! I cackled with laughter! And I love to see a Williamfic that also does due diligence with regards to Buffy's character. Most fics tend to focus on one or the other.

*cuddles William again*

It's like a warm blanket on a cold evening kind of fic, isn't it?

Awkward? I hope not! thepuddinhead October 17 2011, 00:07:18 UTC
Lutamira pointed this conversation out to me. I just had to pop on (hey, I'm new to LJ! That's my excuse!) and say very big hugs to you. I have had two instances in my life when I've struggled with depression. To know that this tale gave you a little bit of light has meant more to me than anything that has happened since I first began trying to write. I wanted to thank you for this because it means the world to me.

And I will endeavor to write some more William stuffs for you now too! :) And thanks to everyone else who chimed in here too and ((especially big hugs)) to gabrielleabelle for recommending it. I still feel stunned when people do that!
