What's been going on lately?
What's up with all the celebrities dying this month? David Carridine, Ed McMhan, Farrah Faccet, Micheal Jackson and now Billy Mays??? Freakin weird. Micheal Jackson dying is like...your childhood home burning to the ground. It's...sad. Makes me think about childhoold memories like my brother locking me in his room w/ the lights out playing Thriller to freak me out. Makes me think about waiting up all night to see his brand new video "Remember the Time" on MTV. Makes me think how in awe I was when I saw the video for that "Annie Are you OK?" song when he did that leaning dance move. Makes me think of watching an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire so I could see the brand new "Scream" video he made with Janet. I know he's been accused of some pretty horrible things, but I think Micheal Jackson was seriously eccentic and seriously misunderstood. How can you not be messed up after the "childhood" he had? I had a crappy dad and I'm messed up for it. I know other people who have had crappy parents. He had a really crappy dad AND the pressure of entertaining on top of that...who wouldn't be screwed up?
Anyway...my ten year highschool reunion is coming up. How crazy is that? I'm kinda anxious about the people I'm going to see. Shaun is more excited about going then I am. It's kind of cool since he was only a year ahead of me and we went to the same highschool so he will know alot of the people there, too. It should be interesting. I'm having dinner tonight with Shaun and Jeremy Garrett who I went to college with so that should be interesting, too. I think Jeremy used to kind of have a thing for me so I'm not exactly sure why he wants to have dinner, but he knows about Shaun so...I mean, catching up with him will be fun.
I'm still looking for a second job. I like working at Aero, just not enough hours. Peter Scott gave me an interesting opportunity last night so I'm going to wait to see how that turns out to mention what it is. So today my mom is coming to visit and we are going to get my hair cut. I hope she gets here soon. I better go and make Shaun some lunch before he gets home for his hour off.
