I can't believe how long I go between posts these days -- and it's even been five days since I scanned my friends' posts. I have replaced LJ with other vices activities, it seems. But I miss the days of active posting and responses and I wonder what is going on with most of you

So nice to have an update from you *waves* I think about you regularly and wonder what you are up to. I can't believe ConTessa lost a tooth, isn't she still that baby hugging your laptop? - wow time has flown.
It must be nice to have the Admiral around a bit more, even if he has the inconvenient trips away.
My husband and children have recently discovered the joys of iphone apps. I've had mine for a year but I don't let the kids near it - or I'd never get it back. The Captain just got one for work as his blackberry died and now he can't get his hands on it most of the time as the kids are playing one game or another *smirks at silly male*
Reading Austen sounds like a fun project. I haven't actually read many of hers or even seen the movies/mini series etc. I have read most of the Bronte sisters but that was waaaaaaay back when I was a teenager and I really can't remember the plot lines at all. I'm at a lull in my reading right now so maybe I should head to my local library and see what I can find. You have inspired me.
