Best Day
This has been the best day in a long, long time. I screwed up my flights so I ended up hanging out in Dallas all day today (I was here for a baby shower).
I started the day at Starbucks, reading and drinking a latte.
Then pilates.
Lunch at my favorite restaurant, Cosmic Cafe.
Quick stop at the mall for some bridal shower favors.
Pear cider and bread pudding at Old Monk.
I'm back at Starbucks drinking a passion fruit tea and dorking around.
I think I'll have a soft spot in my heart for Dallas beacuse it's MINE. Aaron lived here as a kid, but doesn't really know it well or anything.
I have my special places. I did all ME things today with no guilt, no other demands, and IT WAS AWESOME.
I'm going to have to remember this.
FYI - pilates is teh awesome.
