hoy es el cuatro de octubre del dos mil ocho
I love October. :D I can't believe it's taken me oh so long to update about the start of this fabulous month but here it is! I'm so excited for Halloween, since me and Robin are going as Misty and Ash. Souuuuupt. 'Cuz we're losers.
My art class started this week, and it's pretty awesome. We started with self portraits which makes me very happy since it's a vague enough prompt for me to be able to do anything with. I already started painting mine, and I'm gonna use cool colors for the skin and details and probably paint my hair red or maroon or the like, haha. When I was walking up to the building there was a girl and her dad wondering if they were at the right building. I told them that they were. The girl turned around and looked at me, and it was MARY! From my summer art session! I was kinda upset since I thought I'd never see her again, but we pretty much tackled each other when we saw each other, haha. I got her screenname which is goooddddd. We're not in the same class, but we're in the same building, which is good, since I'll be able to see her a bit. :)
School's the same! I'm doing well in most of my classes except like...Algebra. :/ I swear to God, I have absolutely no clue why I'm doing so awful in that class since I'm really good at math, and I'm getting all of my homework right, I put so much effort into the tests and quizzes, but I end up bombing like half of the problems. Ugh. The fact that we're doing SAT prep in Study Skills doesn't help either. Slowly beginning to hate math more and more.
But today's Saturday, and it's the weekend, so I'm trying to get my mind off of it. Today I'll probably end up reading, doing homework, making bracelets, playing Kirby, baking cookies, and maybe even painting my nails! I have to go to something at my church tonight which means I can't go to the California Smile release show...that reminds me I have to go get that CD, brb.
Currently listening to California Smile and charging my iPod, woo!
Last night I went to Taaaaalia's for a movie night, there were supposed to be a bunch of us but for so long it was only me, her, and Renee, then Nate and Cait showed up. We ate, we ate a lot, haha, and we watched Grandma's Boy which was pretty funny.
I'm having pierogis for lunch, I'm pretty excited. Gotta go eat em now, so cyalllll latehhh
