Angstpiration
I'M IN A BETTER MOOD TODAY.
I was a little upset this morning still but not too much. I basically just figured I'll see what I can do with it, if I do well and can handle it, fine, and if I can't, oh well. I was optimistic about the whole scenario, but if my expectations are too high I get let down...I'm not sure which I want to sacrifice, my optimism or my happiness after an event. I don't think either is going to happen, since that's just who I am.
So my angst gave me inspiration last night, which is why I refer to it as "Angstpiration."
But enough about that!
Today was actually a good day. Gym was SUPER FUN, since it was the FIRST DAY OF ULTIMATE FRISBEE! Sososososo much fun, especially since Victor and Dan who played frisbee last year are still in my class. Plus, I have Tal, Renee, Tim, Gary...SO MUCH AWESOME! I did okay but I'm kinda outta shape, haha. I told Gary I'd kick his ass all the way back to China since he swatted the frisbee away from me (although I'm not gonna lie, it was an awesome move).
English, we started reading Antigone, which will be a breeze since Sophocles is rad. When we were reading, I played Antigone and Tal was Ismene :D which rocked. We've got some cool projects, and I'm gonna do one that involves FASHION DESIGN! How fab.
Then in choir we started "Do You Hear what I Hear" which is gonna be fun...there's a solo in it too, which I reeeeeeally want, haha! I'll try out for it. I can't wait for the chamber resulsts either...I hope I made it into chamber sosobadddd. I wouldn't even mind getting up every morning since it'll deff be worth it.
And I didn't make second callbacks for HSM. I'm kinda happy I didn't, to be honest...didn't wanna have to go back tomorrow night, which means I get to actually watch Project Runway, woo!
Walked home happily with Robin, Kang, and Tim. Yeeeeeeah. :)
I didn't even write about Tal's party...! Which was super fun, by the way. I think I'll do that now!
So I got there (her dad opened and closed the door on me, haha) and got inside and hung out with Tal, Renee, Robin, and Kang for a bit...after a while, Victor, Doug, Harry, Dan, and Kelsey showed up and we all just played silly hand games and ate OUUUU, EGGROLLS which were the best fuckin eggrolls ever.
And we ate cookies and stuff. Gabe and Nate showed up too, we tricked Gabe into thinking Tal hated him which was kinda horrible but kinda hilarious.
She used my dinosaur candle holder :D I think she liked it, haha. Cake was delishh, then we sat around the fire and threw stuff in, lol. We eventually played Mafia which was hilarioussssss. Especially when Gabe was god.

She opened presents and had the most fabulous money card from Robin, along with the Guy Fawkes mask, and Dan's awesome card, among other things. And just cuz I mentioned the mask, ABUTENTA ABUTENTA
I need to get around to uploading those photos.
So eventually everyone left around 1, haha, and me, Tal, and Renee just kinda chilled then went to bed ("RENEE YOU RETARD THAT SHIRT GLOWS IN THE DARK"). Woke up at 10ishhh and had some fab pancakes and watched Live Free or Die Hard or whatever the hell that movie's called ("BRUCE WILLIS, MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE"). Justin Long was in it :D<3
I left after and went to a Polish picnic where I ate 4 pierogis<3 and some nalesniki, which I've never had before but was absolutely amazing. It was like...fslkgflkhdflkjndfjd. <3333 It had apple sauce and pastry, so you know it's good, haha. I also did lotsa gambling, won some wine and about 4 bucks.
I need to see 28 Days Later.
I think I'll work on my digital Chikorita painting today, and maybe even scan that big Pokémon drawing I did.
