Me again!!
I know, I have been neglecting my journal, haven't written in a while, work has gotten me pretty busy! It's been crazy ...& very busy as I already said. And to that add the football fever for the worldcup! Today Argentina is playing against Serbia & Montenegro (don't know if there's a translation in English for that), so...Go Argentina!!!
Ok, in the LJ life I've made one latino-american friend (from Mexico to be exact), miss laury_kos and I've joined a community she recommended me padanistillness where there are icon challenges, I've sent a couple for the last challenge though they are not very very good. I know I said I would be posting a bunch of my icons and I promise I will, I'm hoping to have some time off from work to be able to do that without any rush (you know I have to upload everything first, etc). Plus I'm trying to find out how to change my layout to make it a bit more personal (God knows I really need to change it 'cause it sucks!). Yesterday I downloaded lots of new textures from icon_extras cause the other day when I was finishing an icon for the challenge I couldn't find a texture to use that I liked (and I always thought I had lots of textures!) so yesterday I went crazy & downloaded a bunch because I needed new ones (or I really should learn how to use the ones I have, lol). I don't expect much from the challenge, I don't think my icons are too decent compared to some I've seen but I'm confident I'll be improving my icons one at a time! (yeah a bit too slow isn't it?, but what the hell!) Anyways, not much more for the moment. Go Argentina!!
