Remember who you are Jared - don't loose that. I think, after Andy's visit home he forgot that. When he left to go back I felt like I was punched in the gut. He was very different and all I could do was feel sorry for myself - now I'm sure he hates me.
Your mom and I have been through some really rough times with you guys gone. One thing we have never forgotten and that is what incredible selfless hero's you both are. It's what keeps us going. One day you will know this. One day you will look back and and see just what a sacrifice you have made for your country. Stay strong for 3 months. I'm meeting at your unit Saturday with your mom and Anita and a bunch of others to plan your coming home. I'm also going to suggest you come on over to KY to find some really great girls when you come home. Every girl at Andy's party was not only beautiful but have their acts together. Love, Jacks
