OMFG I nearly went into cardiac arrest at the very first scene in today's episode.
Faith Snyder, YOU ARE DEAD TO ME AT THE MOMENT! DEAD!
Wow. I thought Faith's bratty attitude and whining and "poor me" was bad yesterday. TODAY IT WAS TEN TIMES WORSE. She was EPICALLY IMMATURE in most of today's scenes!
And for real...you go to school with your boobs hanging out of your dress and a slit up to your crotch, and YOU WONDER WHY THE OTHER GIRLS CALL YOU A SLUT?! What kinda dumbass are you? Hello?
PS - That kind of dress would never be allowed in a public school. Spaghetti straps are a big no-no. And seriously, Faith looked like a street-walker; I don't blame the cheerleaders for calling her one.
Okay, so first scene, Lily walks into the house and Faith is sitting at the computer. Lily asks what's wrong, Faith freaks out about school, and Lily FINALLY starts to show a backbone when it comes to disciplining her daughter. Then she sees that Faith is crying (oh, poor baby *eyeroll*), and suddenly she's all, "Oh Faith sweetie hunny, what's wrong?"
GAG.
What's wrong is that your daughter needs a SERIOUS attitude re-adjustment. Preferably one that involves a swift kick in the arse!
UGH.
So then Faith is all, "If you think I'm going back there, you're crazy!" to Lily, and luckily Parker shows up to take over Lily's job. Because honestly...when it comes to Lily and Faith, I can't tell who's the daughter and who's the mother. Lily lets that girl walk all OVER her. Sad.
So Parker lets them know that he's going to visit Liberty in Minnesota, and Lily suggests that they all go together on Lucinda's private jet. So they do, and I was imagining the flight with Parker and Lily sitting in front, with Faith in the back with a big bit of masking tape across her mouth. :-P Fortunately, she apparently didn't speak much on the way there, so they didn't have to bound and gag her. (Darn!)
So when Faith sees Liberty for the first time, she's left speechless, but then she helps Parker hang some pictures up in Libby Lu's room. Then when she goes out into the hall to talk to Lily, Lily explains that she wanted Faith to get some perspective (after Parker already gave her hell about being upset over the dumb cheerleaders who wouldn't give her the time of day). Faith basically rolled her eyes and said, "Yeah yeah, whatever, Mom." I don't think visiting Liberty had the profound effect on Faith that it should have. She's still wallowing in her "woe is me" state of mind.
Anybody else wanna flatten her out with one punch? Hey Faith, be more self-centered, please! I bet you can't do it, 'cause you're already there.
And she got all bitchy about Luke because he ratted her out to Lily and Holden. You should be thankful that he gives two shits about you, considering how you've been acting lately! Some people would kill for brothers like that! Dumb bitch!
:-P
Haha, anyway. :-) I can't talk about her anymore. I'll just keep going off on tangents. Let's just say that Faith's attitude on the show as of right now is a LITTLE less than savory. :-)
But I would like to mention how Lily said she was grateful that all of her children are healthy. Aw. ♥ Granted, they've had some health issues in the past (mostly Luke, what with being born with a bruise on his brain, needing a blood transfusion, then the whole thing with his kidney transplant later, not to mention all the odds and ends in between...). I thought that was really sweet. Lily loves her kids, she does. She just sucks at disciplining them.
And that's usually where Holden comes in (remember how hard he came down on Luke about his involvement in the Reg/Elwood/drugs case?), but he's dropping the ball with Faith here!
Next topic. :-)
Parker and Liberty agreed to take a trip cross-country when Liberty gets out of the hospital. Liberty tried to get him to agree to go if she doesn't make it, but Parker would have none of it. That would be cute if they went on that trip together. It would be great for Liberty to get out and about once she's healthy again.
And speaking of Libs, let's talk about Janet and Dusty and how enormously adorable they were today!
So Dusty buys the house for Janet, and gives her a key ring with a big, sparkly heart on it. Janet's over the moon about the house, and she and little Baby Unknown are doing well. :-) I was very surprised at how cool Dusty and Jack were at Janet's doctor's appointment, but hallelujah! That's how the two of them should have been acting from the start! :-)
Unfortunately, Janet's wonderful father, Rocco, shows up outside the house to give Dusty a hard time about being with Janet after he's had a few drinks at Metro, and after Dusty lets him know that he's on to him (because Rocco still has connections with Ralph), Dusty basically tells him to get lost.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Dusty Donovan does not scare easily.
Good thing, too. Dusty ends up back at Metro where one of Rocco's goons pulls a gun on him. Dusty whacks him with a coffee pot, they get into a tussle over the gun, and later, Jack and Carly find Dusty knocked out on the floor behind the bar, with blood on the back of his head.
Oh, Dusty. Even Jack was like, "Not again!"
So that's where Dusty is right now.
Janet, meanwhile, is in the farm kitchen with Teri, who tells her not to get too excited over "Pop"'s new involvement in Janet's life. Teri says this because earlier Pop showed up at Metro and tried needling Teri for information on Janet's relationship status. Teri refuses to give him what he wants, and Rocco gets drunk at Metro after she leaves to cater Carly's open house for Monte Carlo. (This is when Rocco goes to confront Dusty on the street.)
Rocco is NOT high on my favourite characters list. As far as I'm concerned, his placement is right next to Faith. I hate overbearing fathers like this. Seriously, man...get a life. Stop making an ass of yourself.
Anyway. :-) From the previews it looks as though Jack is going to have to deliver the bad news about Dusty (whatever it may be) to Janet. Oh, Dusty. I REALLY hope he's okay. He and Janet were SO happy and cute today. :-(
And lastly, we have Craig, Carly, and Jack.
Craig and Carly had an open house for Monte Carlo, in which Carly was sssssssmokin' in this little black lacy number that she designed herself. Jack originally wasn't going to go with her, because he'd pulled a double overnighter shift at the station and had already agreed to Janet's doctor's appointment, but he made it there in time anyway. But Craig got this suspicious note, telling him to "Enjoy it while you can", and now he's all paranoid about everything. The open house, however, went extremely well, as Carly had her guests "eating out of the palm of her hand". So she and Jack leave after the open house is closed (lol), and they go to get dinner (and that's when they find an unconscious Dusty). Oh, and apparently, Teri's cheese-puff thingies are to die for. :-)
Oh yeah...and Craig's stuck in an elevator at the Lakeview. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. He gets in and BAM! It breaks down.
But, to his defense, there definitely is someone tailing him. I have NO idea who, though. I'd like to point to Gabriel, since he's the new guy in town who obviously has questionable morals, but that's a shot in the dark. :-P Wouldn't it be funny if it was him, though? HAHA. I dunno what his possible interest in Monte Carlo could be.
Oh, yes....am I remembering this correctly? Did Carly refer to one of the clothing stores as "Archaeology"? Meaning like...Anthropologie? HAHAHAHAHAHA LMFAO! Am I making that up, or did she really say that? I can't remember, but LOL anyway!
Oh, show. "Ustube", "Friendbook", "Greg's List", "Playman", and now "Archaeology". Ahhh, the LULZ. They kill. :-D
