Let's start today off with some conversation breakdown, okay?
At the police station, after Molly tells Holden about Damian's ploy:
Holden: But Faith was here! She was safe here! Why didn't she say anything to us?!
Molly: Oh, Holden. You know this new version of Faith is a dumb bitch.
:-P
At the hospital, after Janet finds out she's pregnant:
Dusty: But this child could be mine!
Janet: Not possible! We only did it once!
Dusty: So it could definitely be mine!
Janet: Not possible!
Dusty: But don't you remember New Year's? It could have happened!
Janet: No! It's not possible!
Dusty: So...you're saying it's not possible...?
:-)
So. Let's talk about Janet, and how I KINDA WANNA SHOVE HER INTO A WOOD CHIPPER!
For cryin' out loud. Janet and this baby thing and the whole situation with Jack is making me nuts. And Janet's absolute refusal to acknowledge that this baby could be Dusty's really ticked me off. Are you a dumb shit, or was I just misinformed during my sex ed classes at school? Please tell me, Janet.
Although, I have to say, that if Janet had gotten pregnant at New Year's, she most likely would have noticed it. I don't think the absence of a menstrual cycle would be overlooked for three months straight, or even accredited to stress over Liberty's condition. I could be wrong, and not that I want to discount Dusty's weight in the whole thing, but...you know.
So Jack and Carly finally get back together and they're all smoochy lovey-dovey and Jack's all sweet and adorable when Janet calls with the HUMONGOUS monkey wrench, which she lovingly throws right into Jack's plans. Yay. *headdesk*
But Dusty's keeping his gloves up! He's right in the ring, still battling for Janet. Unfortunately, even though Janet doesn't want to be with Jack anymore, and even though she was all kissy-lovey with Dusty before the news, she suddenly doesn't want to be with him anymore. I seriously wanted Dusty to like, pull her hair or something. Just something to get her to listen to him. The man is campaigning for her love, and she's got cotton in her ears! Oy.
So, there's more where that came from, I'm sure. This story is far from over.
But! A story that is hopefully winding down? Damian's. Ugh.
Today was the first episode in a really long while that I was actually on Lily's side. When she started ripping into Faith about why she was all jittery and weird in the car, I was cheering her on. I do not like what the show has done with Faith. She's stupid and manipulative and a liar. I'll take Faith with an eating disorder for 500, please.
So then Lily figures out the whole stupid thing with Faith and "Max" and she calls the police and gives them the address of the house where Damian is waiting for her. Then she drives to the house to confront Damian. (Gotta give it to her, the woman's got balls!) Meanwhile, Holden's desperately trying to get out of being transported to a real jail cell, and after strangling the cop who was trying to take him, he jumps into Molly's car (as she and he have figured out the whole dumb scheme themselves). And that's where we are with that story.
PS - WHERE THE HELL IS LUKE?!
Oh, and I don't know if this is of any significance, but since the show had a close-up of it, the license plate on Lily's car was J8R 0713 (or it could have been 0173). Dunno if that's going to come into play or not.
Also, "Forest Hills" made me giggle. That's the town where Damian is supposedly waiting for Lily. The funny thing to me is that there is a Forest Hills here in Queens. :-P Slick, writers. We know the show tapes in New York. :-)
And as I predicted, Molly figured everything out about Faith. She posed as Lily and then caught the headmistress of Faith's school as she tried to back out of their meeting, threatening her since she'd let Faith leave with someone who wasn't her father. Then the headmistress described Damian, and that was that. Molly's pretty useful, eh? :-)
Oh, and I have to say, it's good to see that Nu!Faith and Lily's crap-ass relationship is still intact. Faith's a bad daughter and Lily's a bad mother. Just how it's supposed to be. :-)
But you know who's a good daughter and who's a good mother (when she's sober)? Sage and Carly! Tell me how cute they were today!
Hee! I loved them together today. Sage was so happy when she found out that Jack and Carly were back together. She even went to "update her status" about it! LOL.
I feel bad for poor Sage, though. She so wants for Jack to move back in and for her life to feel like it's got a complete family. I think she feels deprived of her father without even realizing that's how she feels. Poor kid. She just wants to be with Jack and Carly together. C'mon, Jack!
More baby dramarama with Janet/Dusty/Carly tomorrow, with a dash of Craig on the side! Prepare yourself. :-)
PS - What was with Teri looking like a Lily wannabe in Old Town today? Time for some new hairstyles, ATWT!

(Honey - Damian to Lily today, a la Mushu: I LIIIIIIIIIVE! Hahahaha. Which then got me thinking of Meg rising out of the chest like Dracula, which then got me thinking that Paolo would make an awesome Dracula for Halloween. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Love you, sis!)
