Liberty to Parker: Lean On Me (And My Tree Branch) When You're Not Strong - Today's Recap, 1/12/10

Jan 12, 2010 15:23

So I have to admit that these past two episodes, I've actually really liked Liberty. She's been too sweet with Parker, and really worried about him. Not to mention that she fashioned that crazy tree branch-crutch AND found them both help. You go girl. Although she still managed to cause Janet some trouble!

So Dusty/Janet/Jack/Carly...these four have been fun lately, no? I say this sarcastically, because they're fricken driving me nuts! Pick one person and stick with them, all of you! Is it Jack/Carly Janet/Dusty, or Jack/Janet with Carly and Dusty flapping in the breeze? I almost don't care at this point...just PICK SOMEONE! Sheesh. And please explain to Sage what the eff is going on, because she's clearly not understanding.

And bipolar Janet is bipolar today. She gets into the room with Jack and is all huggy-kissy "I love you, I love you" but as soon as Carly busts in and tells them about Parker and Liberty missing, she turns on Jack and breathes fire at him in an instant! Seriously. Then she calls Dusty down in the lobby. WTF?! Okay, Janet...clearly Dusty is not out of your system yet. Maybe you shouldn't be trying to fix things so hard with Jack right now, because Dusty keeps popping up!

I wanted Dusty with Teri. She was super into him, completely unattached, and they would be too cute together. Hear me, writers?! *shakes fist at them*

Ahem. I'm okay, I swear. :-) Still happy G, as always. :-)

Anyway, so now Liberty and Parker are on their way to the hospital, courtesy of Dusty's helicopters (PS - DUSTY HAS FRICKEN HELICOPTERS?! Why didn't I know this?), and now the new storyline with Liberty is going to start. I'm wagering that Jack and Janet are going to get back together with this new crisis with Liberty.

Oh, and she and Parker TOTALLY still have feelings for one another. TOTALLY. Their feelings were about as subtle as a fist to the mouth.

And now, Simon and Katie. Oh, Skatie. How I love you. I adore how devoted Simon is to Katie right now. I know they have this really bumpy history, and Simon's peaced out on her more times than we can count, but I'm just loving the two of them right now. Ack. Today's episode was so sweet! But Katie, silly girl...it's not a mystery why you have feelings for Simon! You've always had them. (Like I said in yesterday's recap, when you're married to someone and love them and share a life with them, there's ALWAYS going to be a part of you that still loves them!) I think Katie should take some time and figure out how she TRULY feels right now, to make sure Simon doesn't end up being the rebound guy, but I think they would be so great together now, especially since Simon seems to want to walk the straight and narrow. :-) And he already told Clarissa to buzz off twice now, all for Katie's sake.

Which brings me to Henry. Where did he park his brain, really?! I can't believe after all the Uncle Ralph crap that he's so willing to just jump in and go for it, knowing that this job has a connection to Simon, who has a connection to Katie. DID WE FORGET THE DETAILS OF WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME KATIE GOT WIND OF ONE OF HENRY'S CAPERS?! Oy gevalt!

But it's kinda cool that Simon knows about Henry being in on it, and he warned him to be careful. Simon walks that dangerous line between honest and good, and dark and mysterious. And plus, he has that beautiful Australian accent. ;-) Hee. Apparently I have a fangirl crush on Simon now. :-P

Aaaaaaand previews! What the frick happened with Emily? Stupid Mick! I really hate Mick. (And what's up with the new bumper in which Mick is with ALISON?! Grr!)

And Barbara's catching up with Henry again! Not to diss Vienna, but Henry and Barbara are cute together!

~G

And to Honey - Jack to Dusty: You **** my wife?! You **** my wife?! Janet, I love you really... *KABLOOEY* Haha! We need to watch this show together more often. :-)
