Dear Craig: Pick One Sister and Stick With Her! Love, the World - Today's Recap, 12/16/09

Dec 16, 2009 15:24

All right. Mr. Craig Montgomery, you can't have your cake and eat it, too.

Anybody else think it was terribly convenient that Rosanna decides she's going to stay the night at Carly's house only after Carly comes to Rosanna's hotel room? What was Rosanna deciding before Carly showed up? Oh, soapworld. I love you. :-)

Anyway, CRAIG! Such typical man-logic. "The only way I can let you go is to bonk your brains out." OH COME ON. For serious, what kinda girl do you take Carly for? Oh...wait. HAHA! But really, Carly is trying her best to stay virtuous in this whole ordeal, and she's done a pretty good job so far (barring that one kiss...which she immediately admitted to). I was hoping that since Rosanna is going to stay the night with Carly, that they were going to have a talk about Craig, but it seems as though the wedding is going to go through, at least up to a certain point, anyway. They're probably not going to get married, but it didn't look to me like Carly is going to talk Rosanna out of marrying Craig tonight. Ahh, wedding hijinks. Gotta love 'em. Hey, nothing says "Congratulations!" to Craig like Carly sticking her tongue down his throat! :-)

On the upside, for us Jacket fans, if Carly's gonna get back together with Craig, even if it's just for a little while, this means that Jack can finally start making things work with Janet! YAY. No more hinderances. I want my sweet, loving Jacket back. (Though I really liked how Janet let Jack have it a couple times before!)

Okay, now we have to talk about Casey and Ali, because they were so. DAMN. SWEET! today. Oh, my. I just loved them to bits. I bet you Billy and Marnie had a blast filming those scenes with the toys. ♥ So cute! And then Casey asked Ali to go to his family's Christmas party with him and he was all blushy and shy and she was so sweet! And when he kissed her cheek she put her hand up on her face. GAH. SO CUTE.

And Casey and Hunter are starting down the path to BFF-ness! HAHA. Okay, maybe not yet, but them wrapping gifts together, and then shaking hands and thanking one another? Very, very cute. I admit, Hunter is beginning to grow on me. And while Casey slamming him down on tables is all fun and good, seeing them cooperating with each other works, too. :-)

And I was really down on Hunter/Maddie before...because I felt Maddie would be taking two GIANT leaps back in comparison to who she's dated before (Hey Honey, Casey, HUNTER! Casey, NOAH, HUNTER! HAHAHAHA. Luv ya, babes.), but they're starting to grow on me as a pair. Damn you, ATWT. I didn't want to like them together! :-P

And while we're speaking of her, I loved Maddie and Henry's conversation at Al's! YAY! I love it when they have scenes together. Trent and Alex work so well with each other. And both Maddie and Henry are kinda going through the same thing right now, so it's easy for them to understand one another. Although, I have to say, I don't think Vienna has given up completely on Henry. I'm sure she still loves him.

But Barbara and Henry are totally cute with each other, too! GAH, what is it with this damn show?! LOL. But seriously, they're cute. And Barbara was with Henry when nobody else wanted to be with him.

And now we find out that the prints on Mick's glass belong to James Stenbeck! That's a shocker. I wonder what Barbara's going to do with that information? And why the hell can't this man just DIE? I know that sounds weird, but...he's died like a bajillion times before, and he keeps coming back to life! I feel like I'm watching an episode of Buffy or something. :-) Someone SHOULD have put a stake through his heart the last time, like Emily suggested! LOL.

And Straightjacket!Meg? Totally enjoyable. For real. I never thought I'd actually start liking Meg and her screechiness concerning all things Damian, but I am. I guess it's just too amusing to me that they've had her committed. Too fun.

Though I can see both Emily and Paul's sides when it comes to Meg. Emily doesn't want anything with her family getting messed up right now, what with the treatments and all, but like Paul said, Meg is Eliza's mother, and I understand him wanting to help Meg out. Paul is so rational nowadays...I'm loving it! Loving this Paul!

And how come it seemed like everyone sobered up really fast except Craig? I guess he can't hold his liquor, HAHA! Paul and Jack today seemed absolutely fine, while Craig was still slurring his words all over the place. AHAHAHA. Love it.

And Mick, man...what a creep! First watching Ali and Casey through the glass, then he almost blinded Paul with that pen-light thing, then stirring trouble up between Paul and Emily, and then Ali's freaky dream about him...YUCK. And am I mistaken, or was the place that Mick took Ali in her dream the same place that James died the first time? I dunno, I'll have to watch it again. But didn't he fall out the window there or something? I'm not up on James's complete history. :-)

Anyway, today's ep was good. It felt meaty to me. :-) Though I am going through Nuke withdrawal! Bring our boys back!
