And Lily and Meg Try To Rearrange Each Other's Faces - Today's Recap, 12/7/09
YEAH!!
I FINALLY got my girl-fight! And it was complete with hair-pulling and face-slapping and oh yeah, Lily whacked Meg full-on with her wedding dress! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I've been waiting for this for months!
LOVE IT!
Also, I think it's really funny that Holden and Damian were the ones having a civilized conversation while Lily and Meg were the ones tearing each other's hair out. :-D
But poor Lisa. I would not have wanted to get in the middle of that spat, if I were her. Lily and Meg could have steam-rolled over her with minimal effort! Thankfully, Lisa bolted from Fashions and phoned for Holden and Damian's help. Curious how Damian grabbed Meg and Holden grabbed Lily, no? Also, Lisa's line about "Oh, not again!" when Rosanna and Carly were having a tiff at Fashions was GOLD. :-) And her "I could never say no to a handsome man" line to Holden. LOVE!
I'm curious as to why Holden didn't think that Damian was lying to him before he thought Meg had really gone crazy. Lisa clearly said that Meg checked into Damian's suite, and the charge was on Meg's card. So why wouldn't Holden think that Damian was just flat-out lying to him about Meg then? Meg can't be making it up if the hotel has a record of her checking into Damian's suite.
I have to say though, that I'm actually enjoying Holden and Lily being apart. I'm liking the tension between them. I wish Holden was a little more involved in Luke's life at the moment, though. Like when Luke went to the farm to pick up the cake and was all, "OH HEY MOLLY!" but he and Holden barely glanced at each other? That makes me a sad panda. :-( C'mon, ATWT! We want some more Luke/Holden scenes! Especially when we know Noah's not gonna be on. :-(
And Damian?! Dude, you're LIVING under my truck now. You've got an apartment and are PAYING RENT under my truck. Could you be a little more devious with this whole scheme, please? LOL. And from the previews, Meg's gonna try to smother him with a pillow in the hospital? ROFL.
You know who else is dangerously close to being run over with my truck? LIBERTY. That scene she had with Janet in Al's today had steam whistling from my ears. SERIOUSLY. First of all, DO NOT ask your MOTHER about her sex life. GROSS. Secondly, you're so lucky Janet didn't put her foot up your ass, girl. It's none of your business. And then Liberty half-redeemed herself by talking to Jack (I called it! I called Liberty seeking Jack out to bring him back to Janet!), but she was kind of a tool to him still. And THEN. AND THEN. WTF was that "I'm moving out if you both don't admit that everything's changed" shit?! Seriously?! You tell your mother that you want to help her and be there for her, but you threaten to move out if she doesn't do what you want her to do?! What the hell kinda support is THAT? Argh. Effing Liberty. You're off my Good Characters list. Consider yourself shunned.
And even though the vow renewal was EXTREMELY gag-worthy (seriously, I made sure I didn't eat my lunch during those parts), it was nice seeing Luke. And it was nice seeing Luke holding Ethan. :-) HEE. I love me some Snyder sibling interaction.
And Jack! STOP EFFING LYING TO JANET! PS - Do not sleep with a woman, tell her you love her, and then peace out of bed as quickly as possible. It does not make her feel good. He at least walked her to work, though. :-) And kissed her goodbye. BUT NO MORE LYING! Janet would be happy that you were going to see Brad! (Brad = Brad's gravestone. :-P)
Now on to Carly/Rosanna/Craig. What a mess. I have to say that the only character in that triangle that I enjoyed today was Carly. Rosanna turned into her usual weepy self and Craig's explanation for kissing Carly just annoyed the crap out of me. You don't kiss a woman to show her that there's a pull between you when you're ENGAGED to her sister. Are you an idiot? Survey says: YES.
But Carly was awesome. And now she's going to sew Rosanna's wedding dress. YAY! Custom-made bridal gowns FTW!
And Molly made Holden all stumbly today, lol. I don't know why, since he's said before that he wants her to stay in town and at the farm, but it was cute anyway. Holden is a sweetheart. I know he and Lily can make you crazy with their back and forths, but I love Holden to bits. BITS. Best dad on the show.
And I feel so bad for Lily right now. She has no idea what Damian's been up to. I hope she and Luke gang up on him once they both find out what's been going on (if, indeed, they EVER find out! Gyargh.) I would be lying, though, if I said that I wouldn't be upset if Damian's relationship with Luke was destroyed. They both worked so hard on it, it would be a shame to see it go. Damian's not the best dad in the world, as we all know, but I do truly believe that he loves Luke and wants to do right by him. He slips up every now and then *coughgettingMasonfiredcough*, but most of the time, he's been okay. Recently, of course. Not talking about the whole "I'm dying, come to Malta with me!" incident. :-P
Sidenote: Honey and I were discussing Friday's show, the scene where Damian calls to order the wedding cake. I thought it was very funny how he specified that he wanted flowers made out of frosting. My first reaction was like, "Why would he even ask that?" I mean, what the hell else are they going to make the flowers out of? (Sugar.) Then I was like (imitating Damian): "Oh yes, please, I'd like the frosting flowers instead of the arsenic ones. Or the cyanide ones." Like, seriously, I thought it was such a funny request!
But apparently, it's not such a weird thing to specify! LOL. Especially when the flowers turn out to be made of arsenic! HAHAHA. Okay, we don't know that for sure, but we do know that the cake was poisoned and Damian's going to suffer somewhat for it. (He's also going to frame Meg for it, but...that's what happens when you get mixed up with the crazies. :-))
HAHA. Once again: simple mind, simple pleasures. The littlest things amuse me, no joke. :-D
