Incest is the best! Put your adopted half-brother to the test!

Okay, the new spoilers are giving me a serious case of the LULZ. I think it was just the font used on the SOW page, combined with the fact that now Luke and Noah are like me and G: same mom, different dads ^o^ (Holden is legally considered Luke's father).

A couple questions have been raised as to the necessity/legality of Damian&Lily adopting Noah, and I think actually the show has it right. Maybe in a skewed way, but it's not totally unhearable-of. G remembers from years of ER that sometimes they would ask family to consent to a procedure, and since this involves Noah's brain, I think it's serious enough to warrant asking for permission, especially since it's been described as "risky". Also, issues of who is legally considered family don't end at 18...Lily got Lucinda's adoption of her rescinded two years before Luke was born, and I imagine they've since reinstated it. You're never too old to be adopted.

PJ3 over at the board pointed out something that threw a monkey wrench in the Lulz Machine, though...this story highlights the fact that Luke is not allowed to make medical decisions for Noah. If TPTB were cool they'd make this an issue after Noah is all healed up. The boys's attempt at fighting housing discrimination was somewhat botched; I'd like to see them try again. They haven't done anything with the Foundation lately; all we know is that Luke gives whatever he earns to it. And, I dunno...is it trite to want to see a gay couple deal with gay issues?

PS From last night's AIM convo...

Honey (9:15:13 PM): Good luck explaining this one to the judge if/when gay marriage is legalized in Illinois

G (9:15:15 PM): it's kinda gross and funny at the same time

G (9:15:36 PM): oh boy. Them explaining their situation might not be a good step for gay marriage

G (9:15:47 PM): "Yes, we're gay, and yes, we're brothers, and yes, we want to get married."

G (9:15:55 PM): JUDGE: GTFO MY COURTROOM!
