Eternity Sucks, and So Does Craig's Life - Today's Recap, 11/3/09
HAHAHAHA. Okay, Carly's confession that she still wants Craig to be her husband was not supposed to be funny. But Craig's face during the whole thing, especially when she hugged him, totally had me busting out laughing. Poor Craig. He was expecting the opposite from Carly and she totally threw him a curveball. :-)
That being said, Carly had a pretty discreet homecoming! I loved how she showed up to support Jack first thing (of course she did, lol), and I liked their conversation outside of the church. I only wish she had made it there to him sooner so he wouldn't have missed the funeral. Oh, well. Better late than never, they say.
Liberty is still ticking me off to no end. I get that she's devastated. But trying to bring everyone else's lives down with her is so not cool. I am so pissed about this "two beers" thing with Jack, and she just keeps bringing it back up and making sound like he was shitfaced and stumbling all over the place the night Brad was shot. He wasn't! Geez. And rubbing this new information in Parker's face accomplished what? Now you and he are not on good terms, Liberty. And Parker was the best friend you had these past couple months. Argh! Shut up!
And now Margo's in on the whole "two beers" thing, too. Am I just too willing to pardon Jack for this because I adore him? Is two beers really that big of a deal for a man? If he had said SIX, then I would have been like, holy crap Jack! But he only had two. Two. And how strong is beer? 5% alcohol? 6%? He's a well-built man. I really don't think two beers would have impaired him that much.
And poor Jack. There's nothing more for me to say about him besides "Poor Jack" anymore. I feel so bad for him. His journey begins now. He's turned in his badge and gun and is off and out of Oakdale for what promises to be some good stuff for us viewers. :-) I'm excited for all the location-shooting and random people he's going to come in contact with. Just no thoughts of suicide, Jack! Noooo. Holden can't lose you like that!
And this whole thing with Brad and Henry...I don't know if I think I find it cute or annoying. I'm assuming that Brad is still "here" to do something, whether it's reunite Katie and Henry, or somehow make Katie feel more at peace, or something, but right now it's just kinda strange to have him hanging around Henry all the time. I feel like I'm watching the ATWT version of Ghost. If Brad jumps into Henry's body and dances with Katie in their living room, I'm outta here!
And finally, what we have all been waiting for: Nuke on our screen! Granted, the preview was like, a nanosecond of Luke and Damian (PS - Luke, how is Mason undermining your relationship with Noah with Noah's film? I is confuzzled...), but still. We know the boys (PLURAL! BOYS! MEANING BOTH LUKE AND NOAH! YAY!) will be on tomorrow! Wa-hoo! I'm totally stoked! Tomorrow looks like the Grimaldi boys get together and start plotting! Devious Luke is devious. :-)
