Dear Life, Why Do You Suck So Hard? Love, Liberty - Today's Recap, 10/13/09
Okay, I have to say this first: What the HELL kinda friends does Liberty have, first to make that "not in your condition" statement, and then letting her drink at the party?! Um, hello? Real friends would be sticking by you and making sure you're taking care of yourself, not letting you get blatantly wasted when they know you're pregnant.
Also, Liberty does not realize how awesome she has it right now, for being in the pickle that she's in. Seriously. She's living at Fairwinds with Emily and Paul, who are rolling in the dough and practically handing everything to her on a silver platter (Emily bought her maternity clothes today!), not to mention the fact that her mother isn't on her back 24/7, and she gets to see Parker all she wants. And after she gave birth, the baby would be whisked away by Paul and Emily, and she'd never have to see it again, if that's what she wanted. Damn, girl. Rough life.
Honestly, she should stop crying over how much her life sucks right now and just man up. Enjoy the pregnancy (and the subsequent perks) while it lasts, have the baby, and go on with your life. It's not the end of the world!
But, I know that's not going to happen. As if she hasn't shit up the works enough, Liberty's gonna go do some more dumb things and make everything worse.
And speaking of making things worse, let's talk about Meg! Whee. Psychopathic obsessed Meg is fun, isn't she? Not. Good Lord, Meg. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: MOVE THE HELL ON! Damian has all but spit in your face. He wants LILY.
But Holden and Maeve today were super cute, weren't they? Oh my. So cute. I love that Holden gave her a tour of Old Town, and they got their drink on together! HAHA. Very cute. And Maeve looked so pretty today! Her lipstick was a beautiful shade. :-) But then, Lily's all, "Excuse me, who's this bitch?" HAHAHA. Holden should be like, "Gee...I dunno, the woman who saved my life, perhaps?"
So, yes, if you couldn't tell, Lily and Damian are still on my last nerve. I don't know what it is about them right now, but they're just pissing me off. And Lily with the ring today. Good God. Her not being able to get the ring off just means that Damian got the wrong size, am I right? It's not a fortune-telling device. Ugh. Get some margarine around that sucker and the thing will slide right off!
And Luke! How nice of ATWT to remember that they have a character named Luke! Okay, I'm not bitter, I swear. I'm very glad we got to see him today (and I was right about the whole "Dad" situation with him! Lily: "I want to be with your Dad!" Luke: "Uh...which one?" AHAHAH poor Luke. Such confusion in his life.) And I have to say, as a tiny sidenote, that DEAR LORD those jeans looked good on Van today. Holy hell, Van.
And can we PUH-LEEZE have a Holden/Luke/Noah scene?! Pretty please with a cherry on top?! I want to see Noah welcome Holden back with a big hug and a "It's so good to see you!" Remember, ATWT, how Noah said that Holden was the one man in his life that he actually respected? Yeah. It would be nice to see them reunite. Like...NOW. (Also, Noah was mentioned again today, without ever being on screen! Though I highly doubt that Luke running around screaming that his dad is alive would annoy Noah.)
And Craig and Rosanna. Geez oh man. You two need to stop making out in places that Parker has full access to! Sheesh. It's not rocket science, people! And now Craig's trying to bribe Parker with the money in his trust fund. But honestly, if Parker is as mature as Craig says he is, then he knows that telling Carly about Craig and Rosanna would be nothing but destructive. So why is Craig trying to bribe him? I would think that he had Parker right there. And besides, even if he gives the money to Parker, who's to say that Parker still won't snitch on them? He totally could.
Anyway. Tomorrow looks like the beginnings of a Lily-Meg team-up, no? Who'da thought that would ever happen? I'm still waiting for them to jump into unitards and have it out in a mud pit! :-P
PS - It was so great to see Emma with Holden today. So freaking cute. Love her, and love him!
