Poor Holden. He finally makes it home after months of captivity and the first thing that happens is he finds out that his wife has married his arch-enemy.
And, okay...I understand why they did it (because otherwise, there wouldn't have been an entire episode to tell), but today's ep was kinda like, "Yay, Holden's home!" and then everyone scattered. HAHA. Nobody wanted to stay with Holden! Like, stay in his presence, I mean. LOL!
Anyway. Lily actually didn't bother me today in her scenes with Holden. I thought maybe she would, since we're all kinda up in arms about her marrying Damian so quickly, but she didn't really bug me. Until, of course, she went to see Damian and subsequently made out with him on the couch. REALLY? Your husband has been presumed dead for months on end, and when he finally comes home, you go make out with Damian?! (Psst, Honey: THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BE BONKING DAMIAN! :-)) Argh. Lily. WTH. I'm glad that she ultimately said that she was going to stay with Holden though (and Holden told Faith that he and Lily were going to work it out). Good!
I'm also glad that Luke hugged Holden and told him that he loved him "so much". Gah. So adorable and sweet. Holden and Luke are the best father-son duo ever.
And Jack and Holden BFF-ness! EEEEEEEEEEEEE! You guys know how much I adore those two as besties. :-) I'm so glad Jack got to see him and they hugged and Jack told Holden how much he missed him! Awwww! I love them so much! How relieved is Jack, to have his best friend back? Yay!
And the boys. Noah's last scene with Mason was kinda like: "Dear Mason, Kill Yourself...Love, Noah". HAHAHAHA. I understand that the writers are creating the tension between the three of them and all that, but I have to say that I feel funny with Noah's hostility towards Mason. I don't know why. I liked it better when they were friends. That's weird, isn't it? Hmm. Now they're both at each other's throats all the time....
But! I loved the fact that Luke didn't blow up at Noah about not telling him he was with Mason (though I have a feeling that's gonna come back and bite them in the ass). But really, Noah got out of the car, in the pouring rain, in the MIDDLE OF A THUNDERSTORM to walk home for Luke. So, ya gotta give Noah some credit, Y/Y? He means business when it comes to his Luke! And Luke's "good lovin'" response to Noah's "how can I get you to forgive me?" Ohhhh, writers, you assholes. You do that kind of thing on purpose to us; don't think we don't know it! Argh. And then Noah's "I think I can handle that..." just took me to dirty, dirty places...I'm sure he can handle it, all right! Hahaha.
Ahem. And Meg. Oh Meg. What to say? First she's all Nails on Chalkboard again, and then suddenly she's the sweetest thing on two legs. WTF! She's seriously delusional. Why would you want a man who's all caught up in this family drama? Geez. Let it go already, Meg. You're better off.
But the show's looking interesting now, isn't it? We've got all this crazy stuff going on. Holden loves Lily who loves Damian but also loves Holden. Meg loves Damian who loves Lily who loves Holden but also loves Damian. Mason loves Noah who loves Luke who dislikes Mason but loves Noah. Noah once liked Mason and things were all fine and dandy till Mason opened his mouth and blurted things that should not have been blurted. Now Mason's angry at Noah who's angry at Mason who's jealous of Luke...or something. Man.
And TOMORROW! Whoo yeah! Lily's bitchslapping Meg and Holden's punching Damian out. Hellz to the yeah! That's the second time Holden's laid Damian out! Damn. You go, boy.
Oh, and also, I should say that I did feel bad for Damian today. As Luke said, he really has carried this torch for Lily for years upon years upon years. I mean, yeah, he screwed with the evidence about Holden's accident, but I do believe that he truly loves Lily. He didn't go about the whole situation the right way, but I believe his feelings are true. I was glad when Luke went to visit him. I still love the father-son dynamic that Damian and Luke have. So sad about the whole "I guess you're not going to call me Father now" conversation. Awww. (Sidenote: Didn't Luke call Damian "Papa" when he was little?)
Anyway. That's my rambling for now! Till tomorrow!
