Okay, so. Meg today sounded like this to me: SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE (in case you're wondering, that's the unequivocal sound of nails on a chalkboard) EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
So I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I don't want to be one of those Nuke fangirls who are all "that wasn't enough for me", but seriously, today's episode WASN'T ENOUGH FOR ME. WTH?!
Am I being too impatient, or is Nuke's storyline seriously crawling by? Or am I just pissed that they spent so much time on Meg whining about her relationship with Damian (which is seriously a MOOT ARGUMENT, considering he's all lovey-dovey at Lily now)? Argh. I get that they're trying to set Meg up as a psychopath or something, but seriously. Somebody run me over with a truck. That would hurt less than watching Meg's scenes today.
Anyway, on to the good stuff. Let's start with the boys! ^_^ I have to give props to Mason - I didn't know he could be such a sarcastic asshole! AHAHAHA. But he was, and rightfully, Noah kinda deserved it. Not that I blame Noah for being suspicious about the whole situation they were stuck in, but he maybe should have held off on the accusing until he saw more signs to back his questions up. I'm actually glad, in a weird way, that Mason kinda stuck it to him. But poor Noah. I felt embarrassed for him. Although he apologized right away, as we would have expected. Good boy, Noah. Except now he's gonna be all emo and upset about missing Lily's wedding, and somehow we know this is going to cause trouble in the future for our beloved boys.
And speaking of boys, Luke in a suit! Yay. Once again we get more scenes with all the Snyder kids, and today they were all jazzed up. They all looked so snazzy! ^_^ Yay. Very cute scenes together, once again.
But how convenient for Lily, to have wasted all her time doing nothing all day (okay, visiting Holden's grave does not constitute "nothing") but still happen to have a beautiful white dress just hanging in her closet to get married in? Oh, soapland. How I love your quirks. ^_^
Wedding ceremony was very sweet. Again, I say it would have been better if Holden was actually dead. But since we have Holden very much alive and looming over our heads, it was not as wonderful as it would have been. (I can't believe I just said all that! Wash my mouth out with soap! I love Holden! <3)
And Emma. I loved her today. She was very honest with both Lily and Meg without being cruel. She was kinda harsh on Meg, but I think Meg needed her to be. And I like that even though she didn't agree with Lily's decision to marry Damian, she was not mean or vindictive or anything of the sort towards her. Yay Emma. <3
Lucinda was good today, too. She was to Lily what Emma was to Meg today, although eventually Lucinda came around a little bit. Well, she came to the wedding, at least. It's a step. ^_^
And now Holden's back! YAY! I don't know why I didn't anticipate the show leaving off with a cliffhanger, but I didn't. So when the show ended with Holden busting the door open and staring warily at everyone in the living room, I was pissed! Haha. They gotta keep us hooked for tomorrow, don't they? Silly writers. Don't they know that if they had Nuke on every day they wouldn't have to try to draw people in for the next show? HAHAHA. Pretty boys = yes, please. Pretty boys making out with each other = HELL YEAH! \O/
So, tomorrow. Definitely looking forward to it. Hope Luke doesn't blow a gasket at Noah, though. T_T Play nice, boys...okay? Okay. ^_^
