Question

Something you didn't know about Honey: she is a theophile. Like seriously? She smiled throughout a funeral just because attending a Mass made her happy. After uni she's heading straight to Manhattan for New Seminary to be an Interfaith minister. She pretty much squee'd over the St. Clare reference because it gave her an excuse to break out her copy of "This Saint's For You"!

Anywho, aside from religion, etymology is another one of Honey's hobbies (as is referring to herself in the third person, natch), and by doing a thorough study of Noah's name, she's come to the conclusion that the name "Noah Mayer" implies Noah could possibly come from a German Jewish background.

So she's wondering, is there anything in the show thus far that negates this premise? Like, has Noah been established as non-German and/or non-Jewish (not including times where he's present when the Snyders say Grace, because at those points it'd just be polite for him to bow his head and go along with it)? Because I have some ideas for "Horiya" and possibly other stories that would bring this up, but there a couple different permutations I could try (full-Jewish, half-Christian/half-Jewish, Jewish but Winston turned his back on it, etc) and I'd want to make it as consistent with the show as possible.
