Barbecues, Babies, and Beer (and Bras) - Today's Recap, 8/5/10
ZOMGGGGG CASEY HUGHES I LOVE YOUUUUU.
Oh, God. Did you guys see that first scene with Ali and Jacob?! Casey - even though he's pretty clueless right now - would make such a great dad. And his beginning scenes with Ali, when asking her out for deep dish? HEE. I loves me some adorable Casey Hughes! And so does Ali. ♥ I have a feeling the two of them are going to be back together (and hopefully happy this time) before the end of the show. Especially after Gwen's speech about how she and Will always found their way back to each other and then Casey and Ali were all ♥_♥ at one another. HEE.
I have a thing for Hughes barbecues. I don't know why, but I really love it when they have them. They had them on the show last summer too, around the time when Colonel Creepy came back. I guess it just really makes me feel like it's summer. :-)
So Katie and Chris tried to take a HUGE step in their relationship today, didn't they? I love how Katie walks in all seductively while taking her shirt off and Chris is all, "You're beautiful." *snorfle* She was only half-dressed - of course she was beautiful! LULZ. I bet she would have been even more beautiful with her pants on the floor! HAHAHAHA.
No, in all seriousness, Katie is fricking gorgeous, whether she's wearing a parka or her birthday suit. I felt it was a little odd that she was just like, "HI HERE'S MAH BOOBIES!" ten seconds after they got to the cabin, but whatevs. I can't blame her. And Chris was really sweet and loving with her, so it was all good. ♥ But then, tragedy struck! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN. Poor Chris is left gasping for air and he can't continue with the sexytiems and Katie's freaking out over him. Hey now...if that ain't a testament to how mind-numbingly stunning Katie is, then I don't know what is! :-P
However, Chris isn't even healthy enough to have sex?! SOMEONE GET THIS MAN A NEW HEART, STAT! :-P Poor guy. I have to be honest and say that this new storyline with Chris freaks me the hell out, because - as you guys know - I DO NOT LIKE HEART PROBLEMS. Agghhhh! I have to say, though, that I really like the fact that Reid is going to help him, especially since Chris is trying to run Reid out of the race for Chief of Staff. CHRIS AND REID BFFs! Not. :-P
I'm really enjoying Will, Gwen, Paul, and Henry right now. Emily can piss off, because she's being nothing short of obnoxious all the time. Paul has asked her repeatedly to stop putting his mother down and she refuses to comply. WE GET IT, EMILY. MOVE ON. If you haven't noticed, more than half the people in your house are seriously worried about Barbara!
I hope Henry finds her soon, because this is just d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g like crazy. Henry and Will infiltrated the party warehouse where Barbara was being kept, but now Iris has moved her to the wine cellar at Fairwinds, where she's been bound and gagged. How many people have gotten stuck in that damn wine cellar? I think it's time Fairwinds said goodbye and sealed it off. Just get a wine rack and put it somewhere else in the house. >_<
And Henry and his BRA today! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I love Henry, I really do. The fact that he jumps into women's clothes without even thinking really tickles me. And when he said to Will, "I had a problem with my bra - you have no idea how complicated these things are," I just CRACKED. UP. Oh Henry...they're really not that hard to manage. :-P
And Iris? W.T.H. Worst. villain. EVAR. She saunters in and out of the warehouse like it's her home, and Barbara doesn't take advantage of that?! C'mon, Babs, you had SO MANY opportunities to just JUMP ON HER while the door was open. Kick her ass to the ground and make a run for it! Agh. Then Iris tries to taunt Barbara with that ridiculous "family photo" she took on her phone. Iris is all, "They're awesome and they love me and we're a real family..." but if you actually looked at the picture, you would have seen that Will, Gwen, and Paul all looked like they wanted to murder Iris for taking it in the first place. Ugh. Two words for Iris, and they start with "D" and "B". :-)
More Henry/Babs/Iris/whatever, plus Chris/Reid tomorrow! :-D
