Okay, so with this episode, it seemed to me like Emily is the one who did away with Barbara. She kept telling everyone to chill out and not worry about her, and she "forgot" to tell Paul that Kim stopped by to talk about Barbara, and she was the one who "found" the postcard that's supposedly from Barbara telling everyone that she went on a cruise to Bermuda.
Suspicious much?
However, the show could also just be messing with us. They wouldn't make Emily the kidnapper after all the horrible stuff she just went through with Meg, would they? She hadn't planned anything horrible to do to Meg, who was trying to steal Paul and take Eliza back, so surely she wouldn't drug Barbara and throw her in some warehouse simply because Barbara "ruined" her dress the other day, would she? (Well, okay, if she'd planned to do something to Barbara, it wouldn't solely be because Babs ruined her dress, LOL. I'm sure other things involving Paul would factor in.)
But nahhh...the show is screwing with us. My money's on either Vienna, or some outside source (like...dare I say it...Mick Dante? Or James? Ugh).
Speaking of Barbara...LOL. Man, I thought the last episode with her made her look crazy. But today's ep made "Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs" look sane! Why, oh why, was Barbara messing around with fireworks in an enclosed area? Did she not hear of what happened to Noah when he last played with fireworks? And then she ends up setting "Chuckles" on fire...geez, Babs. Not a good idea to mess with fireworks in the warehouse. Thankfully, she was all right. Whew!
And Henry as Chuckles. LMAO. Crazy Babs is a lot of fun.
But you know who isn't fun? Vienna.
So now, when she has an adverse reaction to the fertility drug she's been taking (deer antler, or something? DEER ANTLER? Is that what it really was? Ew) and wakes up covered in red spots, she sends Henry off to find some cream for her while she makes a beeline for the hospital. Of course, Henry finds her there, and instead of 'fessing up like she should, Vienna decides to tell Henry that she ONCE AGAIN lost their baby.
Hey, have you guys heard that waking up with hives causes miscarriages? Oh, you haven't? THAT'S BECAUSE IT'S COMPLETELY UNTRUE.
And now she's going to put poor Henry through the wringer ONCE AGAIN. You know, it was really sad the first time, when they lost "Sven", because Henry initially didn't want to be a father but rapidly found himself falling in love with the little tyke, so much so that when they lost him, it was devastating for the both of them. So now Vienna wants to re-enact that? How does this woman sleep at night?! I do not understand her, and I think she gives pathetic a shiny new awful definition.
AND HELLZ YEAH KATIE! Finally, Katie says that helping Vienna was a huge mistake on her part and that Vienna should just tell Henry the truth. of course, Vienna didn't take Katie's advice, but at least we see now exactly where Katie stands on this subject, and it doesn't seem like she's going to be putting in any more favors on Vienna's behalf. WA-HOO!
Now if Katie could just get her shit with Chris together, things would be better. Okay, I can understand that she's not ready to let go of Brad completely, and she's scared to death of opening her heart up again. But, if this is the case, then she should just tell Chris to walk. He doesn't have to go to Haiti, but she needs for him to just leave her be for the time being, so she can come to terms with her feelings. She was all jealous and upset today about Chris potentially leaving the country to go work in Rwanda, but if she's not even going to give him a chance, or if she's going to just keep stringing the poor guy along, then she really doesn't have the right to say anything about his life right now. They both need to do what's best for themselves.
Of course, I'm hoping Katie gives Chris a chance. It most likely will scare the bajeebus out of her, but taking a leap of faith with Chris will probably work out for the best in the end. The guy's crazy about her, am I right? :-)
The two of them are actually slightly reminiscent of Luke and Reid, now that I think about it. One half of the relationship is pretty much gung-ho, and the other half is dragging its heels. Luckily L/R seem to be a couple steps ahead of K/C. :-)
And last but not least: KIM! Yet again, she rules Oakdale with her awesome insightfulness and amazingly expandable heart. She's worried about Barbara and wants to know what's going on with her, and at the same time, she's flawlessly explaining women to Chris. YOU GO GIRL. Loved her "rip it like a band-aid" talk with Chris. Why don't men understand that? :-P Moral of the story: Kim = awesome. :-D
Will and Gwen are back tomorrow! Jennifer Landon looks so different, doesn't she? Wow. Anybody think that Will and Luke might actually get some screen time together? That would be awesome, because I loved Luke's friendship with Will back in the day. :-)

PS - I LOVE the fact that in the middle of rushing to the store for Vienna, Henry stopped to talk to Paul and Emily because he was wondering where Barbara was. HEE!
