This morning I had a dream that David Blunkett was blinded in the Brighton Mods v Rockers clashes in the 1960s. He was a middle class rocker - not really into the violence, more just to be part of the scene - who was hit over the head with a plank of wood causing his blindness

Last night I had a dream that I shot my Dad in the head twice.

The interesting part is that I was so distressed in my sleep that I think I managed to CONTROL my dream ('lucid dreaming'?) to change events so that I had actually missed.

I really like lucid dreaming, I've managed to start to be able to control my sleep paralysis dreams, but it usually ends up with me knowing I am asleep and dreaming but unable to wake up or stop the bad things from happening. Which just gets tedious.

Sleep paralysis sounds terrifying - do you get it often? I don't think I've ever experienced it.

I plan to spend a lot of time in bed over winter working on my lucidity.

I had a dream last night a wasp stung me and laid another wasp inside my arm, and i watched as the crawly little larvae started wrigging around in my arm and poking its head out.

Confusingly this was inbetween shopping for a stereo for my kitchen with you, and they were all bright pink with amazing features like.. er... mini discs. And they were all like 3 quid.

I woke up feeling really sick about the wasp and the image has been stuck in my head all day. ewww.

Oh now it makes sense - I am listening to the same Radio 4 program now. I wonder what I will dream about.

I've had sleep paralysis just once. It was freaking scary.

Still my oddest dream was one with concentration camp trucks full of elastic bands going through waving fields of wheat. they'd try to escape and jump out every so often and then get run over and become plastic. I wasn't in the dream at all.
