Le blah
It's been a while since I've updated. Hell, it's been a while since I've had the time.
Yuma was fun, as usual. Met Bethany and she looks just like Kelsey. Two Tinkerbells now. Bethany really likes to cry and hates being in one place; you have to walk around with her. And she's teething, so she didn't really sleep. Which means that no one else slept either.
I left Thursday morning. On Thursday night, I got a call from Sac telling me that Detroit was gone. Luckily, I put a bright blue collar with a tag on him, so he was found and returned. Thank goodness. But the poor baby was lonely (because the boys forgot about him), so he got out. He jumped on a pile of cinder blocks onto an orange road marker onto the rock wall. It was so windy and rainy that night that he got blown off the wall into the front yard. The people that found him found him in a ditch. He wasn't hurt; he's just clumsy, thanks to his big ol' puppy paws.
But I got my puppy back, and he was freaking happy to see me. He now recognizes my car, so he gets excited when I come home. He's also more cuddly, but he still lunges for the face sometimes. He follows me around everywhere. Poor guy is also getting his, ahem, manhood taken away next week. I don't think he's looking forward to that.
Everybody's birthdays are coming up. J's already passed, as well as Homefry's. Next up is my mom, Brian, and Esteif. And that's just in June. July's a killer too, with Abby's birthday in there. Hope everyone doesn't mind pretty cards.
I don't really have anything else going on. I'm working about sixty-plus hours a week, so I don't have any cool personal updates. I would really like to go to EP and spend some time with my peeps there, but I honestly can't right now. Maybe I won't work Sunday night and be able to drive in, but I won't know until tomorrow.
