I really do work too much. But on the bright side, I am hopefully picking up a new hobby. In order to help myself get into better shape (yes, round is a shape), I decided to try out Jazzercise. My friend from work, Chris, is going to come with me tonight (since Sac thinks it's too girly). Chris doesn't have to worry about all the girls around him; he's a drag queen.
Speaking of which, he also invited me to the Not Your Mom's Prom, a prom for gays. There's gonna be a drag show and everything. I kinda want to go just to hang out with some friends at work and I also want to see my little Chris in drag. I think he'd make a pretty girl. But I asked Sac if he wanted to go and he promptly said no. I might have to convince him.
On the home front, everything is going pretty peachy. There was an ant problem, but I hopefully took care of it. Detroit wouldn't even eat his food because there were ants in it. So I tried putting his food on a pet carrier; that didn't work. I didn't want my pup to starve, so I killed those fuckers good, thanks to remembering a trick from the Clarinet campout.
Everyone in the house gets along and they all love the dog. Diego even takes care of him during the day when I'm not there.
I'm leaving for Yuma tomorrow and I'm coming back Monday. I want to see my girls, but I wish I could actually have a vacation. Visiting my sister has never been a vacation; it's work. But at least I get to spend time with my nieces. The boys at the house are puppy-sitting for me, so I don't have to take a poor Husky to Yuma.
I got my Pride book in the mail. I'm excited. I want to march. Can we march now?
I'm also excited about the new guard instructor. Let's see how this goes. Krissy really needed to be, um, relieved.
Okay, I'm going now. Lots to do and little time to do it.
