I spent the morning putting together the director's PowerPoint presentation. And then my lunch and the rest of the afternoon, of my 9.5hour day of work, sending out and then filing what was essentially identical emails, modified to reflect the country and case reference, THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE TIMES.
Tomorrow, I have another TWO HUNDRED to send. As well as the presentation to finish, all the Power of Attorneys to draw up and have signed, and then I have to organise all the certified copies, translations, and notarial certificates to go with the emails I sent today. Funny, that I'm not in the mood to get up and go to work.
On the other hand, T came by from Lausanne, and so with Em and Meg and I, the four of us went for dinner at an awesome Ethiopian restaurant. Wine and food and friends and random chat. It rescued my horrendous day.
