Archive of Our Own Anyone?
So in my other fandoms (that I mostly watch and don't write in really) I've noticed a few of the authors I really like (popular etc) seem to be getting into Archive of Our Own.
I've surfed around a bit, and am considering getting one (like dreamwidth they keep it to invite only status but since it's in beta you can reply and I might just see if I can't snag one).
Point being...
It's like ff.net, but they're keeping it more select and ontop of that it has some nifty features that look useful and easy to control and it seems like it might invoke less drama then the OMG!DEATH which I know sent a lot of people flying away.
On the other hand I noticed there is no dc section... which is going to change... as soon as I join XP
So my question is... Does anyone know about it? Is anyone else curious? Should I just move there? To be honest I'm pretty much on ff.net during holidays only now cuz... well um... the people I read are on here XP and the rest... theres a couple fics that I like... but mostly its grown scary.
That and I have everyone else on my alert- so I read updates and move on.
But yeah... Since it's invite only and everything I was thinking perhaps quality might be more select and again... nifty features.
