(no subject)
so everyone is doing a school update and i realized that i havent so yes, here goes:
i'll go in order of periods. Chorus was really nice, especially since our class is tiiiny. there is like 14 people in it, and around 8 when the freshman are in gym/issues. and it will be a really nice break in the day to go to the auditorium. especially when the freshman aren't there. And i like hearing all of macs stories.
Spanish is ookish. Perkins so far is incredibly easy. the first day we didnt do like anything in spanish, and the second we did a worksheet that seriously a teacher could give in spanish 1. But i sit as far away from the front as you could be so i dont really have to do much.
History with Banno could seriously be one of my favorite classes ever. We just had a discussion about cliques and stereotypes and stuff using the starbellied sneeches all long period. it was really interesting. I'm sure class won't stay like that and we'll move onto actual history but I just love the way Banno teaches, like questions you and really gets you to think.
English with Strunin is pretty good. His voice kind of bugs me for some reason, the way he talks. I dont know why. But the class itsself is ok. I think we'll do a lot of freewriting, like he'll give us a topic and we write about it, which i love so yay.
Chem kinda sucks. I thought I had Cho but he switched classes with Kenner so now I have her which is really sucky. I have a feeling she's a lot harder than Cho. And my class could be better. I sit in front of John Brown and Louis Gonzales who are two of the biggest idiots in our grade. so yeah it sucks.
Math is even worse than Chem. I have literally no one to talk to. Everyone is sooo stupid i hate it. No one knew what a function was, and half the class couldnt remember what an ordered pair is. Vanvarenwhyk seems good though. But more of as a person, I'm not really sure if he's a good teacher. But I've only had one class so I can't really say that fairly.
Soooo yup.
I'm really ready for it to be cold and fallish. In fact more past that, I want it to be november and close to thanksgiving. I love thanksgiving. Maybe because its been cooler latley. But I dont know, i'm it a holiday mood.
