i feel so french LOL
not really, but i'm enjoying quebec city! pretty effing cold though.
yesterday was a long, frustrating day of travel. because we were all paying for our tickets with our collected airmiles, it was easier to travel on different flights. so i left first, flew out of vic at 6:40am to vancouver. then transferred right away to a flight to toronto and had the coldest flight of my life. of course, air canada has started charging $2 for blankets!! cheap fuckers. also didn't feed us.. which sucked. i basically didn't eat all day until about 8pm. except for the miniscule bag of bits and bites that air canada splashed out on, on the flight from toronto to quebec city.
after arriving in quebec city, i waited a little over three hours for dad and andy to arrive (their flight was late). then we had to wait until almost ten for mom to arrive (she didn't leave victoria until ten pm). sooo that was a really fun 5 hours in the tiny quebec city airport that obviously has no heat. needless to say, i was grumpy.
did lots of walking around the walled city today, love it!
realized that i still haven't eMailed my landlord to say that surprise, someone else is living in my apartment for the next three months. had to hunt down a internet cafe to do that. anyways, time is almost up. looks like plans for monday the 7th are renting a room at moxies? whatever works, just make sure everyone knows info! someone make sure to tell kirstin cos she'll be in town, maybe a facebook group? you know i love facebook.
i have yet to eat poutine, but will keep everyone posted on my poutine consumption status. did eat a croissant already. and have lots of really good coffee. might be the reason why i had a major crash and napped in the museum LOL
