My Dearest HLP...

Mar 12, 2007 19:52

This is to tell you that I LOVE YOU.

I am honoured to have been a part of your long, hard journey to reach this milestone in your life. It has been five long years, and at times I know you've wanted to give up, but I'M SO PROUD OF YOU for sticking with it! Getting your B.Sc. in Psychology is an incredible achievement and you should be proud!

It is because of you and your studies in Psychology that I decided to go the same route, and for that I am forever grateful. Without your guidance and support, I never would have discovered the discipline that I love. I will never forget the first time we sat down with your Psych text and I realized that this is what I wanted to do the rest of my life.

For most students, their confirmation of their struggle would be the graduation ceremony. Isn't that when we felt we had conquered high school? There are few things that fill one with such a sense of achievement as walking across the stage in a cap and gown, in front of thousands of supporters. Unfortunately, due to our kyatrip, you won't get to take part in your graduation ceremony. I know that you're upset about this, and so I realize the importance of having an excellent celebration for you before we leave!

So despite "technical difficulties", I promise, as your HLP, to ensure that you have a KYATASTIC celebration of your graduation. Because even though it appears many others have forgotten what it's all about, I want to make sure you feel the love, support, and PRIDE that your friends have for you and your achievements! You deserve to be recognized for this!

Congratulations on your graduation, Kim!
