I was in my car after dark Tuesday evening, listening to loud trance music and driving around Middlesex county. Stopped at an intersection, my peripheral vision noticed something interesting. Highlighted by the green neon tubes in my car's front footwells, there was a weathered cigarette, that had not been smoked. I figured a passenger must have tracked it in upon their foot. Still, it was interesting that the valueable tobacco had not been sparked.
I examined the fag before flicking it out the window. It was Parliament brand, which I found unusual. When I first obtained my car and detailed it, I discovered the previous owner, female, smoked Salem cigarettes. Parliament is generally a brand coveted by middle-aged males.
The incident was not isolated. The next day another Parliment roll appeared on the floor of the car, this one in like-new condition. Strange. I threw the cig into my glove compartment. Since Wednesday, I have collected 8 cigarettes. I have investigated the area around the passenger footwell to see if there is some kind of stash that became loosened by road vibrations. Nothing could be found, and I can provide no explanation for the mysterious appearance of the cigarettes.
