Friday's rad'n, #8, featured black socks with rhinestones. They're a bit difficult to describe, having concentric poofed out cuff-like things around the ankle - like trapunto*, but not stuffed, and the sparklers affixed with black glue to those... an approximation:

radiation treatment #6: sparkly hot pink socks. The radiation techs noticed my silver-sequined shoes, not the socks! Admittedly, they are pretty eyecatching. Were it warmer, I could wear 20 different pairs of shoes to the treatments, but the weather limits my options.
