shoulder - season delight!

I am having a very pleasing time here in Provincetown with
pull_toy .  Yay!

Some well-nigh magical interludes - Tuesday night, getting to see gorgeous sunset, with the moon rising on one side, the P'town Monument backlit on the other, 180 degrees of view over the water as the colors shifted through some gorgeously subtle tints... mellow oranges and rose tints, a sort of green, a kind of purpe-ly puce that I think I've only seen in Ptown sunsets. Sigh.

Riding the trails before that... there's a sublime moment I love on the Beech Forest bike path. After laboring up some sizable sand dunes, you get to glide down into the woods. The shift between ecosystems is so abrupt, I love the shift from hot sun on bare dunes, scrubby valiant pines struggling to survive... to being enveloped in cool tree breath, in a single speeding bicycle second.

And some plain fun stuff , like bobbing with my Sweetie in the waves at Herring Cove!  The water was not yet _too_ frigid, rather it was the rocks underfoot that were the main hazard. And clambering out was difficult... the ocean was reluctant to relinquish us!  Both
pull_toy and I sustained some bruises in the ruff waves and tugging undertow as we struggled to emerge.

We haven't seen any hot butches and/or transmasculine folks that have sufficiently inspired us to endeavor to lure them back to the motel room... but, there is tomorrow night left in this wee getaway!

Shopping tomorrow... I have resisted purchasing salt-water taffy thus far. This stuff... yow. My family came to Cape Cod, provincetown in fact, for many years, and I encountered the local treat. The way I binge on saltwater taffy is part of the reason that I now eschew most addictive substances... after discovering this substance that I like _too much_ stop eating it until it runs out.  My brother alleges that I would, in my youth, eat it in the car until sick get Dad to stop the car in order to throw up, and then, resume eating!  Now, I don't recall _resuming_ immediately, but the first part happened at least once, I admit.

I feel duly warned that I may not be able to control myself with some drugs, either.   At least taffy is cheaper than most other back-monkeys!
