Expo, reherals, and Stomach bugs, OH MY!!
Gooood GOD its been a hell of a couple of last weeks.
First off, and in no particular linear order, ANIME EXPO ROCKED!! Well, the parts of it that i actually got to see/participate in. Spent pretty much all weekend a slave to Harmony Gold. Well, more like indentured servitude, but for anyone who knows me, thats like being a slave in Fuzzy heaven. Not only did i get to work the exhibitor booth all weekend, not only did i get an "exhibitor" badge, not only do i now have the downlow scoop on all things Robotech, but the icing, the absolute top of the mountain for me, and honestly this didnt hit me till after i got home, was being able to go to all the industry type parties and after-con stuff and introducing myself "hi, im Larry, im with Harmony Gold."
Sooo...yeah, i know thats not that big a thing, but when i stop to think about it, it just really delights the 11 year old in me that used to sit in front of the tv watching robotech every day after school.
Picked up just a couple of cool items from the dealer room. A reeeallly sweet piece of artwork of Belldandy on a blanket, and a Stealth-Type Veritch with the extra Strike armor.
Coming back to orlando, what really sucked was the fact that i had a red-eye flight from LA to Orlando that got in at 7:15am, and had to be at rehersals at 9am. Ouch, that sucked. and what was worse, my immune system was so weakened by my general fatigue, that i caught a stomach bug from my roomate. 5 days later and a notch lower on my belt, and my appetite finally returned in full.
anyway, just a quick fyi to all the FOF out there, in case it hasnt been obvious, i havent really been able to get online that much lately, so the best way to get ahold of me if ya wanna, is to phone or text me.
