40-78's came home with us today. Judy Garland Over the Rainbow, Eartha Kitt Santa Baby, some Sinatra, Hellen Forest, Ellington, Armstrong, lots of Fats Waller, lots of Bix Beiderbecke + misc old weird goodness. Ya. The guy running the sale kept saying that the records were crap. There was a lot of crap but you just needed strong arms, good eyes and patience to dig through the hundreds of heavy records with low contrast labels in a dimly lit basement to unearth treasure! At least if you care about listening treasure. I make no claims about the monetary value of any of the records we bought.
