went to high school info meeting. hoping august gets into the highschool that is 6 blocks away from us and has tons of programs and i've never heard anything bad about (at least not for a long time). we are not in their "zone" and we get no preference. i will have to wait until April to find out if he gets a spot.
need to wrap my head around him being in high school. this year at school he is getting more serious about his grades and such, so I am thinking he is ready academically. he just doesn't look like a high school kid yet. glad still that that all is still happening gradually, though I know he is impatient and wants to get a growth spurt so he isn't elbow level to his friends.
