Hey Y'all from the old west...
Well Kevin and I arrived in Dodge City about a week ago. The trip was so long. It toke us about 17 hours to get here. I listened to My Sister's Keeper on the way here, and fell in love with the book. I plan on getting some of her other books, of course after I finish reading the new and last Harry Potter. Some of the coaches helped us move in when we got here, which was super nice. Our apartment is nice. We are like five minutues from everything in town, which is not saying much, since the town is only 10 miles across. I got to go to SONIC..which made my life..lol. Everyone that I have meant here so far seems very nice, so hopefully it works out for the best. I got a JOB!! Its not my dream job, but its close. I will be teaching the class Quest to 7th graders. For those who don't know, Quest is a class that is supposse to teach students how to study, how to make good choices, and all about leadership. Its going to be weird teaching, since I got out of teaching, but Questis not a core class, and I am going to have a lot of freedom on how I want to run the class. If anyone has any good ideas let me know! This is kinda what I want to do, since it is the human service field. I can not really get a full time job that does not have summer's off. It would be to hard with the weddings this summer. So this should work out nice, and both Kevin and I will be working for the school. Kevin is loving football. He is getting along get with all the coaches, and they seem to hang out all the time. I am excited to start working, and be able to meet more people. Kevin and I are going to get a washer and dryer this week. It makes me feel soo old. Hope all is well with everyone else!
