E.T. Young is my grandfather's neighbor... Walking into the Hospice building to see my other sick grandfather... I see an overly gigantic painting of E.T.'s face... Apparently, he donated a large sum of money to the foundation. Not to mention, I also learned he was formerly the president of the University of Florida. He now does nothing but mow his lawn and teach his asshole kids to shoot birds and house cats that enter their yard. They're all bastards. I've known the whole entire family since I was four, since I can even remember talking. He used to call me "squirt" in a horribly sarcastic overtone. I dispised him even then. If my grandfather is ever put into Hospice, he'd rather shoot himself, I'm sure.
Papa Snap (the sick one) looks good... Considering. Papa Snap is one of those stupid nicknames I came up with, for my dad's father. He was sitting up in bed, telling vivid stories, reminiscing on his old times. It was nice, seeing him again... I can't believe I was so nervous.
Walter is Snap's roommate. Walter does nothing but eat, sleep, poop, and walk around aimlessly. Walter also farts in his sleep. He interrupted my mom talking several times. This man... I could tell, was once very important, smart, and just all around great. You can tell by all of the family pictures, letters, and diplomas hung around that side of the room... It's rather sad, getting old.
The most pointless part of my day was eating at Red Lobster. The food was terrible... I've come to the conclusion that I no longer really care for seafood.
...Another pointless detail in the day was on the way home.... Far in the distance, I could see couches... Pink ones, sitting on the rooftop of a house.
It was an early and productive day. I'm glad I finally made it out to see my grandfather... It seems he's not going any time all too soon. I'm just hoping, because I wanted to bring him the first Lord of the Rings to watch, because he loved all of the Tolkein books... After all, you can't die until you've seen the Rings.
