Cosplay for OhayoCon
I've decided. If I can get enough time to make one, I'm going to try to do a Sailor Mercury or Rosette Christopher cosplay costume. Rosette's would be the militia uniform, of course, it looks a bit easier to make, and probably wouldn't be as stifling. Besides, it's cooler than her original class three exorcist uniform. And as for Sailor Mercury, well, I'd probably like to try the basic costume or the Super S costume, I miss Sailor Moon...that was such a good show, and now I can't even buy the anime in the U.S. as it is no longer liscensed. *tear* If anyone knows where I can buy it, let me know, it's one of those animes I'd jump to own. Sailor Moon and Witch Hunter Robin, along with a complete set of Chrno Crusade. ...And I'd love to be able to watch the DMC anime when it debuts, but I'll probably have to wait and see if it ships to the U.S. or geets fansubbed. I really should have taken Japanese this year, Spanish is too easy, and I want my minor in it already. Whatever. Whining isn't gonna help.
And hey, at least I didn't go with my insane idea to cosplay aas Tidus or Cloud, even if my hair is blonde and could be easily spiked. Although Tidus cosplayed by a chick makes me snerk and giggle. There's a pansy and/or gay man joke in there somewhere, maybe a few of them. xD Poor Tidus, I love him, but he's too easy to tease. Could do Yuna or Rikku too, but well, the FFX Yuna has a hard outfit, and the X-2 one has the same dilemma as Lady from DMC3, the dreaed booty shorts. Seriously, me+booty shorts=bad. And Rikku for X is good, but the hair would be a hassle (thoguh I'll be dying blue again for Ami), and there is no way I'd wear what she has on in X-2. No way. Not even if it would get me out of hell or something. I'd burn first, because that outfit+me=OMG, Slut!!!!one1!!1! ...Or something along those lines. And Robin is out of the question this early on in my cosplaying dreams, as her dress is actually way more complex than it looks, and I would want to do her full justice. Okay, I'd want to do them all full justice, but well, you know what I mean.
Anyways, long rant short, if you're coming to Ohayo Con, look for a Rosette Christopher, or a blue-haired dyed Sailor Mercury.
