[life] wow. i pretty much died again.

I mean, really, when was my last journal entry again? I seem to only post one non-spam entry per month.

The past week (and the next will and) has been the busiest week of the year. Okay, exaggeration. But I was busy, very much so. Last Friday (the 8th of June) I was typesetting Marking (Alaude/Daemon) by Kuro for Mukuro's birthday for nubvola when I realised: "Oh hey. There's no Mukuro in this doujinshi." /facepalms So I quickly pulled out another project to work on: Yuuhi no Yami (Mukuro/Hibari) by DRAGON RIDER. I only got about 30% done (and Marking about 50%) on the 8th. Said I was going to continue it on the 9th, but I never got the chance to.

Misfortune stricks once again. (Uh, not really.) My grandma was re-admitted to the hospital. Nothing serious though. She just had the heater on from Friday night to Saturday morning without any air vents, so her body didn't have enough oxygen to function and she started bleeding from the nose and mouth.

Anyway, that was early Saturday morning and I got home late at night. I knew I wouldn't have enough time to finish scanlating Yuuhi no Yami, so I moved on to QCing Certainty Ans. 1 (Mukuro/Tsuna) by Clownade for moi_xryu. It might have been a mixture of a bad mood, fatigue and stress, but I did something really stupid. Instead of openning the folder, I accidentally pressed the "delete" key. The window popped up asking me if I was certain I wanted to delete it or not. I was about to click "No", but my hand slipped on the mouse and I ended up clicking "Yes" instead. What more, my recycling bin was full so the folder didn't go there, but was permanently deleted instead. Yes, I was pissed off so I just went to sleep after that. So. xryuchan27, you'll have to send me the cleans again.

Sunday, I spent visiting my grandma again. Monday was a public holiday ("Queen's Birthday"), I spent it catching up on school work. Tuesday I had a Business Studies Study Day, where I listened to four lecturers about bloody stupid Business Studies, a class I always fall asleep in at school. I drunk a lot of coffee that morning and managed to stay awake throughout all four talks, thank God. Wednesday and Thursday, I spent the days doing more school work and working on my Business Studies assessment which was due on the Friday of that week (15th). Friday, I spent the time scanlating after school, but I was much too tired and retired early in the evening.

Satuday, my dear precious weekend, I spent going to an Ancient History Study Day, which consisted of another four lectures. What do you know, it's another subject in which I always fall asleep in during class. Needless to say, I drunk a lot of coffee that morning too. Woke up at 6AM and boarded the train at 7:30. Lectures went from 9AM-3PM. Ate nothing during that time, there were no breaks. Boarded the train and landed at my station at 4PM. Bought a pork roll and two cheese & bacon rolls -- I didn't manage to finish the second cheese & bacon roll and ended up giving it to my sister when I arrived back home -- and headed to Physics tutoring, all the while walking in the heavy rain. Mid-way I finally took out my umbrella. Don't ask me why I didn't pull it out at the get-go. I always bring an umbrella with me, even during summer, but I never ever use it. :| Anyway, arrived at the tutoring building at 4:30PM. Tutoring doesn't start till 6PM. I bought my Maths homework with me to do for that hour and a half.

The question is, why didn't I just go home for that hour and a half? I could've caught a bus, staying under the safety of a shelter, and arrived back at home within 10 minutes. Well, three of my relatives from Cambodia flew in on the Saturday (which was yesterday). Parents decided to kick me out of my room and let them stay in there. My sister and my parents sleep in the master bedroom. Dad said I'd move in with them. I complained. "Dad snores, Mum breathes really deeply (which is equal to Dad's snoring)." I told them I'd sleep downstairs, but my dad said that was impossible since he has to wake up at 6AM most days to cook breakfast and at 5AM during the days he has to do the laundry too. So, he said he'd sleep downstairs, and my mum will sleep on my sister's single bed and my sister and I would sleep on the queen-sized bed, with me being closest to the door and furthest from my mum. I thought that was an okay solution at first, even though I figured I'd still hear my mother's breathing clearly, but then I remembered my sister's annoying habit. She always slips her arm underneath my pillow and whenever I move it away, she gets angry and moves it back underneath. /rages So yeah, I complained to my daddy again, haha. I told him I'd sleep on the couch, but he said the lounge room was really cold (and it is). Either way, I'd lose more sleep when sleeping with my family, and I already lose enough just sleeping by myself. Stupid insomnia.

So, yes, I didn't want to see their faces until I got back home. My dad picked up my relatives from the airport sometime when my lectures were going on. However, when I got picked up by my brother after Physics tutoring, instead of heading back home I was headed towards my grandma's house where we had a little party to celebrate our reunion with our 3 relatives from Cambodia. I never even spoke to them in my life, so of course I was rather... anti-social and unwelcoming? I feel obliged to feel how I felt, though. I had a really long day from 6AM to 8PM, where I didn't sleep at all throughout the whole thing (which I usually sleep through Ancient History at school and always nod off at some point during Physics tutoring, yet I managed to stay awake throughout them both) and practically went foodless most of the day, and then I had to entertain relatives. The people who know me in real life know I hate entertaining guests (well, in particular, the ones I'm not close to). Oh, angel_elysium, this was the reason why I didn't send Bittersweet back to you on time, in case you were wondering.

Sunday. Today. Spent it taking out those 3 relatives to places. /shudders Then came back home and chatted to some friends, which I've missed dearly. I haven't been talking to many online friends (and real life friends for that matter) since I've been so busy. Then we visited grandma again. All my relatives were crowded together and it felt like another reunion party minus the food. I brought my Maths book with me and just did my Maths homework there, again. So I just returned home and finished scanlating Bittersweet, and now I'm typing up this entry. Oh right, upon returning home for the second time today, my menstruation cycle started! I guess I have an excuse for being pissy for the past two days. 8D

The next week will be really busy for me too. Lots of Business Studies homework and Maths homework, and Maths test, and Physics assessment. Why do they give us so much homework when we're nearing the end of the term?! And why the heck am I even doing the homework? OTL Oh, I've been ignoring English homework like I always have though. I'm glad Ancient History's homework is usually short, so I always do it in class while everyone's busy taking out their equipment and my teacher is preparing for class.

From the 23rd to the 29th, I won't have much work to do, I think... School should be more relenting and my school break officially starts from the 2nd of July onwards. Just for two weeks though. And then to slap me across the face, the first two weeks of school are filled with exams, pfft. Well, great.

Ouch. And now my cramp's kicking in. Of course. I shouldn't have expected any less. >_>
