I woke up energized this morning!! Fed the dogs; let them out for their bio brake; water the flowers; got dressed in sweats & Powerwalked 3 miles. It took me an hour though. I think it was the humidity and the rain. Thank God I brought my rain jacket and wore my straw hat ( Read more... )

I'm delighted that both of you liked the soup. I've never had soy milk. What does it taste like?

I'm glad you received my suggestions well. I was concerned that you would be overwhelmed.

Given the level of cardio and weight training you do as well as your fat loss objective, you definitely need to be eating more protein.

I would definitely go "cold turkey" on the dry cereal and chocolate.

In addition to burning fat, Fasted Cardio will also help you to relieve your stress. It also builds up your serotonin and keeps you in a better psychological frame.

Cold water is definitely key. I keep a glass or bottle with me at all times. It was my only way to force myself to drink it.

That's correct. If you have eaten, your body has to work off that before attacking the "stored" fat. I had been doing Fasted Cardio most of my life. I just didn't realize it. If I didn't exercise when I got up, it wouldn't happen. Pls keep it to 30 mins per day over 5 days. If you do more and your body plateaus, you will have to increase it. Also, don't forget to increase it by 30 mins every fourth evening. That is key as well.

How long have you been in London? Why are you going back to LA? Was it a short-term assignment? Is your BF going to stay in London?

I used to have a client in the LA area -- Xircom in Woodland Hills, if I remember correctly. The CEO was gorgeous.

I'm doing the Lemonade Diet but I believe it is also called the Master Cleanse. My California friends introduced me to it. They all lost significant weight. However, they would do it for two+ weeks at a time, which is not realistic for me.

It consists of:

10oz of Cold Water
2 tbl of Grade B Maple Syrup
1/10 tsp of Cayenne Pepper
1/2 squeezed lemon

Ask your BF if it is the same. I'm curious.

Fasting three days in a row is better and then eating every fourth day to shake up your metabolism. I only do it four days in a row from time-to-time because of my schedule.
