To reiterate, but also to elaborate upon: this has been the best Christmas ever.

Dinner was amazing (my mom is a better cook than yours--thrice-cooked duck with roast potatoes and then persimmon pudding with pear sauce for dessert, bitches), and then we watched It's a Wonderful Life, which, oddly enough, I had never seen before. Very charming. Jimmy

Le gasp! Yuletide is the great big small-fandom fic exchange that goes up every Christmas. It's got, well, it's got. Having just now scrolled through the truly immense list of this year's entries, I can only say, in a stunned sort of way, that I had never really thought there was much demand for French Revolution RPF. It's got everything. (Including quite a lot of Pushing Daisies, apparently.)

Oh, same here. But I've been in fic-reading fandom for...gosh, who knows how long...enough to know about Yuletide, anyway. One picks these things up after a while. It is not dissimilar to osmosis.
