One month until I go back to that other school. I have thoughts on this, but.
I do not really know what to say about Clarion now that it is over; for certain I can say that I learned more about writing in these six weeks than I have in three years of being a writing major in art school, which is, well, a thing, yes. I've also acquired a new classification of friend--fellow Clarionmates are not quite like classmates, not quite like regular friends, but something very much their own. I like to think of them as allies. Allies against the harsh world of writing and the harsher world of people who aren't in it! Or something like that. In any case, my circle of real-world friends has approximately quintupled. Except for how I probably will not see most of them more than once or twice a year if ever. But I'm not going to think about that. The emails the others have been sending about how lonely they are now are not helping.
Non-Clarion-related things: Wild Adapter is getting re-serialized asdfghjkl ALL MY HEARTS AND JOYS; I saw Captain America and it was pretty good and I quite like seeing a superhero be, y'know, heroic; I was trying to think of a third thing to put here but I could not. And that is all, really.
