so I finished Monster!
and--yeah!
Some things I expected happened and some things I was terrified would happen did not actually happen and some things I did not expect happened, and, basically, it is one big thumbs-up from me. I was not traumatized forever! Sometimes that is a good thing. (And sometimes I traumatize myself by immediately going to read the post-series doujinshi, but that's beside the point. The art was pretty good though)
Now I just have to catch up on 20th Century Boys, and the rest of Pluto, and then I still won't have finished all of Naoki Urasawa's stuff, does the man ever stop
