Suddenly I have a day of many things to do! I find this very bizarre, as I have not had anything to do since Vividcon and have gotten used to gazing out the window in stultifying blahhhh. But anyway, here is the first of the things I should probably do!

Hmm.
Sherlock! And... hm. A freshly-baked pie!

You do indeed know what I want! Ummm. Specifics: since I wrote Fakir POV, I think you should do a Tenma POV drabble. Communing with animals while totally oblivious to the fact that this makes him a walking Disney character a bonus!

"People never give storybooks enough credit," Fakir replied. He looked slightly nervous, which was odd, because Tenma was pretty sure that wasn't part of his reputation. Everyone else said that particular professor was a terror to his students--they hadn't mentioned that he liked birds.
The duck nibbled at Tenma's fingers. "Does it have a name?" he asked.
"She," Fakir said instantly. "Um. It's a she. Her name's just Duck."
"Hello, Duck," Tenma said. She quacked at him. "Your owner must not be very creative, for a writer."
"I'm not her owner--it's just--that's just her name, that's all," Fakir said. If Tenma didn't know any better, he'd have thought that Duck was giving Fakir a resigned look ( ... )

(Oh TENMA you don't know yet that trying to fix everyone will turn out horribly for you. BUT GOOD LUCK.)

(Iiii am going to finish Monster next Monday, actually, so I am not yet completely aware of how horrible everything turns out for him! I'll just assume everybody dies or is miserable forever, that way I might be pleasantly surprised to discover it is not one hundred percent despair after all.)

LOTS OF PRETTY PEOPLE. *____* Thank you for such a lovely and detailed answer, WITH PICTURES! \O/ IT IS THE BEST. I actually thought the lady in your default icon would be there; she doesn't seem to be, though?
Hee! Robert Downey Jr. I must say I am not surprised. ;) I was, however, surprised at Matt Bomer, I somehow never quite saw him as someone you'd go for, but he does have pretty hair. (I must confess, I remember him from the very first season of Chuck, and when I first saw him as Neal, I was, "WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM?" - he already looked different, and older. I think it was the particular stills I saw.)
Tim DeKay can come too but only if someone steals his ( ... )

The lady in my default icon is Rena Sofer, who--surprise surprise--was in Heroes, way back when. *g* Only a few episodes, though. She is very pretty, but she also has certain connotations which make me sad to think about, so I do not actually use that icon very much. I would replace it if I could think of anything with which to do so.
What made you think Matt Bomer wasn't the type I'd go for? Boy is smoking to anyone who has eyes, woman. I swear he'd give me a fetish for waistcoats if I didn't already have one.

Certain connotations - I can guess. Unfortunate, that: if only icons came without baggage. But then again, a large part of the reasons we use icons are the connotations.
re. Matt Bomer: *grin* Forgive me for thinking so, but I thought he would be too pretty-boy for you. I always saw you as someone who'd go for Men of Substance, and I didn't quite see him as fitting that particular bill for you. (In some photographs, he reminds me of a Ken doll; I suspect that was part of the reason.)

Well, I did have a pretty strong crush on Alan Rickman for a while...but then I had a crush on Jack Black, so I think it's safe to say my tastes go careening all over the place. *g*

Urm, I have a jones for Eleven and Rory in Amy-enforced bonding time, please! Extra points for including Roman stuff.

"A good conversation?" Rory asked, because sometimes Amy's conversations could get a bit intense and he'd never quite forgotten the time when she'd forced him to talk about Girl Stuff at age twelve. It had lasted for almost an hour, and at the end of it she'd nodded, kissed him, and run away. So it hadn't turned out that badly, really, but the running-away had been a bit worrying.
"A conversation between mature adults," Amy said firmly.
The Doctor raised his hand. "You know, in Time Lord years I'm actually--"
"Sit down," Amy said, and he did. So did Rory, who didn't really need to be told to.
"Right," Amy said, walking over to them. "Rory, you know that I love you."
"Er, yes," Rory said. "You did marry me. We're married." Part of him was ( ... )

Oh, Amy! Oh, boys. The Doctor and Rory really need more canon-interaction like this because it is AWESOME and I would watch like, six episodes of them just sitting in the TARDIS talking.

YES. This is canon.
