Things what I have learned today:

1) There is apparently a kind of Finnish viking sword known as a "princess sword";
2) Yes, it probably was a good idea to zip up my jacket when I realized I was wearing an I'm Communism shirt at a party full of Lithuanians;
3) Hetalia-Lithuania's human name isn't actually the kind of name you would give a dog (as the rumors had suggested), but, er, isn't the kind of name you would give anyone because it's not a real name at all, it's a fake-masculinized version of a female one;
4) The Danish version of the Happy Birthday song is much shorter than the Lithuanian version, which goes on for quite some time and includes shouting at the end, and
5) Knowing the names of all the Baltic countries impresses my dad ("You've been studying!" he said; "I've been reading gay manga," I replied).

In conclusion, Finland is a pretty pretty princess and Lithuania is a badass motherfucker with a thing for Chinese food. Who knew?

ain't no het in hetalia, my life and welcome to it, yes i am really very odd
