Hee! Love the font faithfulness :)

Did you catch that Sandman crossover the other day? I skimmed it - I thought it was really well done but wasn't in the mood, so didn't really give it the attention it deserved.

The fonts took a damned long time, I'll tell you that. I think I recall something about a Sandman crossover, but I haven't actually read it...link?

...you know, for a pairing I never ever thought I'd read (or thought existed), that's pretty damn good. Mmmm, 5YG. So many delicious opportunities for angst...

I know - not bad, was it? :D And no, not a pairing I can really get behind (I've read a couple, but they just don't really work for me, though this fic at least made it vaguely plausible).

Mmmm, 5YG. So many delicious opportunities for angst...

Indeed. I realise it's probably a way off yet, but are you taking the BDPS there?

Oh good god no, it's only extending until maybe a little while after Peter's graduation from nursing school. The point of the story, I think, is that it's about their ordinary lives; the way they lived and reacted to each other before the whole mess happened, because if you look at Six Months Ago, there's definitely something different there...I did have a story idea for 5YG, though (ever read The Lovely Bones? Well, if you have, you'd probably get where I'm going with that), and I actually wrote a few pages of it longhand, but I don't think I'll ever get back to it any time soon.

Right. And no, I haven't read The Lovely Bones ... not that that would stop me from reading any fic based thereon :)

The Lovely Bones is about a girl who's raped and murdered--and it follows her perspective as she watches what happens to her friends, family, and killer afterwards. It's really rather interesting and touching. (Peter Jackson's making a movie out of it soon.) So, in a 5YG context, you can probably guess the spin I'd put on it. ;)

*g* I could take a stab, yes.

Write this fic! Er, I mean, get on with the BDPS.

God, it sounds tempting. It'd be shorter, it'd be more interesting, it wouldn't be so goddamn domestic--seriously, I have no objections to domesticity, I love the stuff, but after 48,000 words of it, it gets a little maddening. *headdesk* Must press on! Must actually remember to write something today!

Wow, nearly 50K? You're awesome!

BTW, not to distract you from writing or anything, but your Claude&Bennets fic is up. Honestly, I'm not best happy with it, but I wrote it, so I figured I might as well post it ;)
