Augh. I think I don't actually want to watch Lost any more. It's not that I'm repulsed by the very idea of it--er, well, look, I know there's not going to be enough Desmond, because there never really is, and I'm not entirely sure I want to go throw the emotional unpleasantness that is having to deal with Charlie's death, and I think Jack and Kate and Sawyer are really fucking boring, and, er, crap, I'm trying not to be too negative here. But I'm just not excited, and I want to work on the vid and get some homework done (I have to find three excellent points as to why President Garfield was utterly amazing, and also I have to find some reasons why President Pierce was a horrible man who deserves neither admiration nor pity; tomorrow, I go head-to-head with the girl who has Pierce, and the winner goes on to fight in the next round. Yes, we're doing a President elimination challenge. GARFIELD WILL WIN ALL, I TELL YOU.), so perhaps it is just that I do not want to watch Lost tonight. Maybe Saturday, when the evening will be freer.
It's funny, though. Lost was the show that kicked off my long spiral down into watching-far-too-much-television. First came Lost, then House, then the Daily Show and the Colbert Report, then the rest came down in one big flood...and it had one of my few, powerful het ships (Charlie/Claire), and I loved it, because it was good and the characters were interesting and I'd never really watched live-action television on a regular basis before. And now I barely care about it. Fuck, man, don't let this happen to Heroes. Don't.
EDIT: Wait, Lost is actually tomorrow? ...same time as Supernatural? Good thing our TiVo has two tuners, then. Huh.
