Uh, yeah, I know I haven't updated this in awhile. I was going to update Thursday, but LJ was being a jerk and I finally gave up.

Awesome! And trust me, Beej, I can't wait. Because when you succeed, that flamingo will become the delight of my life and your very best friend. You'll wake up in the middle of the night and see it staring you down with its little beady glowing eyes... and then in the morning, when you go outside to head to training after tossing and turning the rest of the night, it'll be back on the front lawn, as if nothing had happened.

*Burst out laughing* No, you wouldn't do that, because you'll become way too attached to that flamingo and you'll love it and cherish it and not want to let it out of your sight!

Exactly, which is why I'm going to get one of those Amazing XCams -- or whatever those things are that they keep trying to get me to buy when I use Yahoo -- and record the whole thing. :)

But if you're just recording the moment, you can't be there, you can't reach out and touch the purple flamingo, caress that molded plastic head, feel the heat that radiates out when you turn it on.

Really, that's all part of the joy of owning a light up flamingo!
